Never had a bad or even mediocre meal from Capitol City Grill. I recommend the seafood pasta as well as the blackened mahi fish tacos. During restaurant week 2016 they offered a Mahi Corn Maque Choux which has been the best seafood dish I’ve ever experienced.

Came here because it was close to the hotel. The gumbo was delicious. Just not hot. Had the pork chops. Again delicious but served over cold mashed potatoes.

I had lunch here on a Tuesday afternoon and it was perfect. I ordered the grilled salmon burger with the daily vegetable which were broccoli. The salmon was cook perfect and served with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. The broccoli was crunchy and served at a nice temperature. The restaurant itself is beautiful. They have huge windows looking toward the Mississippi and a nice bar. The staff is well dressed and polite. Fantastic job to the owners and crew.

Took the recommendation from hotel concierge and had an amazing imperial filet with crab cake special. Good wine & beer selection, too!
