This is one of the worst auto parts stores in baton rouge. I don’t mean auto zone in general, I mean this particular auto zone. The one on the corner of college and perkins is actually one of the best auto parts stores I’ve been to, though I think the best one in baton rouge is the advance on siegen. Back to this auto zone: the lines are always incredibly long, and the employees are in no hurry to help you. The items are consistently priced higher than they are marked on the shelves. The employees, including the manager, really do not know what they are talking about. You can go in and ask the manager something and he will give you one answer, a week later he will give you another one. He will promise to stock things multiple times, then never actually do it. My only good experiences here have been with one friendly cashier, a young black girl whose name eludes me. I don’t think she works there any more, I haven’t seen her recently. Also, orders that I made online and had shipped to the store generally go smoothly — mostly because there is a limited window of time for this store to screw it up. The ONLY reason I or anyone else should go here is because of the location. This is the closest auto parts store to where I live, and when your car breaks, you don’t really have a choice in where to go.
