Cute little diner located in the heart of Bath. Some positives: the service is always great and friendly. Food comes out in a timely manner and the prices are reasonable.

Fish chowder was not restauranty but homemadey made with half and half rather than heavy cream. Not too rich just buttery enough. Yum. Strawberry shortcake was so very humble and homemade. Like eating at a favorite aunty’s house. A thoroughly pleasant experience. No one is trying to be haughty or beautiful. They are just trying to feed you decent comfort food.

Very nice folks running the joint, as with most places we’ve been to in Maine. I had the Lobster Omelet with home fries, toast, and a side of bacon. The lobster omelet was a little bland but I corrected that by mixing in some of the bacon and adding pepper and Tabasco to it. The home fries were a little on the mushy side, no crust on them at all, but they tasted OK. The hash browns my wife got were of the frozen variety and were deep fried. She was disappointed they weren’t of the normal fresh variety a diner should have. The coffee was excellent! It was an OK breakfast, all in all.
