Beautiful gathering place with very good coffee and excellent pastries. The staff is the most gracious and patient I’ve seen serving coffee. Nice place to meet friends or read and they even have a conference room if you need a bit of privacy for a meeting, etc. I had a mocha which was very generously adorned with whipped cream. I enjoyed it Ina comfy upholstered chair with some Frank Sinatra tunes playing softly in the background. An excellent way to warm up from the January chill outside. The next time I come in I’m going to try some more of the locally made pastries. Also — all coffee arced is ethically sourced.

In Batesville, Indiana you don’t have a lot of options for coffee — especially ones that feature steamed milk or espresso… so it is really nice to see a place like Amack’s Well open up to provide that need. The shop’s space is super airy and open. If you are a student it is perfect for studying or if you are a business it has a conference room you can inquire about using. I highly suggest all locals to stop by and support this place or if you are passing through Batesville to come over and grab a cup on your way. The perfect way to get a little taste of the town while visiting.

Aside from the excellent coffee and bakery treats, the staff was incredibly friendly and the space is so charming. They display a local artists work in addition to some high school pieces. One of the baristas walked me through and talked about the art with me while my boyfriend got our coffee. We had the blueberry muffin and the rosemary feta scone. Most coffee places don’t offer a savory scone option so this was a pleasant surprise. Advice: get the scone(and the muffin, and the coffee).
