I surprised my gf for Valentine’s Day/2yr anniversary by doing some research, and she was blown away! It was all I could expect: beautiful historic house(it’s the first house on the museum’s historic house recommended driving tour), in the historic district, within walking distance of Main Street, wifi, small tvs in the room with a vhs collection, great homemade breakfast, romance package meant Bill and Shawn took care of the chocolates and flowers for me, and had the champagne on ice when we arrived, and all for a really great price! We will DEFINITELY be back!

I had the best anniversary/Valentines weekend at Pecan Street Inn. I left my busy city life behind and was immersed in the historic splendor of this beautiful house. So close to Main street with dozens of adorable shops to explore, Pecan Street Inn is the perfect B and B. Excellent food, wonderful company, and very reasonably priced. I will absolutely recommend for anyone who whats a romantic weekend.

Booked a birthday weekend for the ladies celebrating my grandmother’s birthday. I got a call a week out saying that another party staying there needed more room than they thought so we were bumped!

This is the Top Rated B&B in Bastrop. It is a short walk to Historic Downtown Bastrop, convenient to many restaurants and fresh pecan suppliers, and not far from Bastrop’s Movie Theater Complex. Very friendly management, and a great breakfast with, yes you guessed it, the best pecan waffles you have ever eaten!

From the moment we walked up to this charming, historic home, we got the feeling we were in for a very special weekend. When the door opened, history, ambiance and a warm, cozy feeling hit us immediately. The creaking steps up to the second floor take you back in time. The room was amazing; it was beautifully decorated with one of of the biggest and most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet and beautiful. You are a short walk away from Bastrop’s amazing Main Street, which is full of history and AMAZING food. In the morning, we woke up to a tantalizing scent wafting up from downstairs. We were met with a great breakfast, including pecan pancakes, sausage and fresh fruit. The conversation with the other guests and owners of the B and B was akin to sitting down with old friends for breakfast. The experience was way more than expected and so worth the price. If you find yourself in Bastrop, you have to stay a night at the Pecan Street Inn. Thank you, Shawn and Bill. Highly recommended.

A couple of nights in Bastrop — attending a wedding. We like B&Bs and found this one very much to our liking. A small B&B(sleeps 4 couples) close to downtown Bastrop. House is decorated with lots of Texana. The proprietors(Bill and Shawn) are a delight. Bill cooks a terrific breakfast. Shawn is full of great stories. We will certainly go back when we are next in the area. Cost was about $ 120/night for B&B. I don’t know if that is moderate or not. We fet that it was good value — but obviously we could have stayed at a Motel 6 for a lot less.
