There was no elevator but it looked pretty. I arrived around midnight and my elderly father greeted me in the closed but manned lobby to get my bags. He headed for the stairs and I scolded him. «Daddy, really? This is too much. Let’s get you to the elevator.» He laughed. I got to the room and loved the cherry wood. It was pretty and clean and so was the bathroom. There was a big flat screen in the middle of it all so I was happy. There was also a refrigerator to hold all the Louisiana food I wanted to store and smuggle back over the Texas border and a microwave to heat and serve what wouldn’t wait. Additionally, there was a lot of extra furniture in my way! See photos. The air conditioner gets ice cold. You’ll probably like that. Know that putting the key next to your cell phone deactivates the key. I learned that the hard way, twice! There is an outdoor pool I didn’t use. Breakfast was like eggs, biscuits, and juice. Just go to Huddle House instead. Service was quite friendly and accommodating. I would stay again.
