Stopped by on the way back from Aspen and it was probably the best Mexican we have had in Colorado.
We had la torta chingona and la camellia and they did not disappoint.
The nopales en vinagre were also really good and were a nice change from the chiles en vinagre that you get at a Mexican restaurant.
I had the cucumber lime water and it was also great.
You aren’t coming here for the ambience, this restaurant is reminiscent of a place you will eat somewhere in Mexico where you will find the best food.

Every time I come to the Aspen area I HAVE to come here. The restaurant is Spartan, but I usually order to-go. If you want authentic made to order Mexican this is the place to go.
