If you are looking to put together a good dinner yourself, this is where you need to go to get your protein or any obscure ingredients. The dry aged tenderloin is amazing. Yes, they’re expensive($ 32/lb) but damn it they’re dry aged and they’re good($ 16 per person for an 8 oz. fillet ain’t too bad). Service wise, they’re very accommodating w/odd requests for random cooking items like ham hocks and what not. If they don’t have it up front, just ask and they’ll go look in the back. It’s cheaper than the Butcher Block in Aspen and I always was treated well in there. Plus it’s in the good City Market’s stip mall so it makes putting together a good meal convenient.
