Parking can be a bit tricky here as the parking lot is shared with quite a few other businesses, but today — for me — I parked right out front. The atmosphere inside as well as the décor — if that means anything to you were both good! It is much bigger inside than it appear and they even have a small outdoor eating area as well — I decided to eat inside — to stay away from bugs as I hate eating with bugs. However, I did have a fly at my table — that isn’t the reason for taking away a star though — at least not on its own. I gazed through a very decent breakfast and lunch menu and found both selection and price to be very good. Service was also very good — both in speed of delivery after order and in general — the server was excellent! Food flavor was good, our orders were both cooked to our liking and the only problem I have with this place or ANY place that serves toast is that the butter not be hard. Serving me hard butter to spread on my toast basically shows me that your level of customer satisfaction is lower than my expectation. At home I hate when I find that the butter is still in the fridge — so when I go out — I simply expect them to think ahead more then me — as I’m not in business of preparing and serving food! Between the parking, the fly and the hard butter — I rated this place with 4 stars — to me 4 stars is GREAT and I would gladly return! I hope the locals know that they have a really clean place, with great service, decent selection of food at very affordable prices!

Reallly great food for reasonable prices. Everyone in my party really enjoyed what they ordered from their big and extensive menu. Would come back to this place again.

Love this place. Any time we have friends or family in town I always bring them here for breakfast and it’s loved every time. A great local breakfast joint where you’re guaranteed to fill them up before you send them off!

This is one of my favorite restaurants! Everything there is amazing. Their soups are to die for! The burgers are delicious. Their breakfasts are something that I crave regularly. Everyone I take there raves about it. I can tell thay they make their food from scratch and it is excellent! The service is good. They have a big enough place that you dont have to wait long on weekends if you go during prime time. We are always picking up food for other meals because they close early. I cant say enough good about this place! If you are looking for a quality family restaurant this is it!

This place was excellent. The meat lovers skillet was huge and the best I’ve had. They also have fresh squeezed orange juice and excellent service.

Man, I read some of these bad reviews and I really have a hard time thinking that we have ate at the same place. Been here twice now, once at lunchtime and the second, Sunday morning breakfast(we had a 15 minute wait). Both times service was great and both waitresses were super sweet and very attentive. Our little 8 month old was present and even the bus boys were saying hi to her. I really liked the family vibe the place gives off. Now onto the food. First time I had the Caprese Benedict. Loved the basil hollandaise and the garlic ciabatta bread it was on. My only critique? I think I would have liked the mozzarella to have been warmer. Having the super cold cheese with the warm egg and warm tomato just seemed to be a little off. Otherwise, I loved it. And my peach mimosa? Delicious! Second time I went with a classic, ham and cheese omelet. Insanely fluffy eggs, really crisp hash browns, and I LOVED that I got to have cinnamon toast. Does anybody know if their bread is homemade? The pieces of toast totally seemed like it. My husband’s steak fajita skillet was amazing too. The steak was really tender and that really impressed us. Most breakfast places just slop some low grade meat on skillets in hopes to mask it by all the other ingredients. This was the complete opposite. I’m hoping they are reading these bad reviews and have made improvements and our meals have been a result of that :)

My boyfriend and I went here based on the recommendation of his co-worker. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, oh how she failed me. Parma Benedict: I’m not even gonna lie, I only reason I got this was because there’s prosciutto in there. I had thought«you can’t really do wrong to prosciutto.» The description said«lightly fried» yea yea it’s not supposed to be like bacon, but it didn’t feel«fried» to me. It was more like«we’ll just slap a bunch of prosciutto on here.» There were also no basil present in the dish, even though the description said so. One good thing I have to comment on how the garlic ciabatta bread is much much better than the boring English muffin. English muffins tends to get soggy after awhile in the hollandaise sauce, but the ciabatta held up nicely. The hash brown that came with it… this, this needed a paragraph of its own. Not because it was so damn good that I have to write a whole new paragraph about it. Ohh contraire people! I seriously thought they forgot to cook my hash brown or they cooked half and thought it wasn’t enough and threw in some more. Half of it seemed unfried and the other half was burnt. When you get hash brown, you are looking for that crunchy exterior with the soft potato goodness as you continue to chew, but no. All I got was shitty hash browns. Shitty, just straight up bad. Nutella crêpe: the batter wasn’t too thick or too thin for a crêpe. I just think it was too much nutella that you couldn’t taste the crêpe itself. I do like that they threw in the crushed chocolate cookie… but it was like one chunk of cookie and that was it.

I’ve been coming here since they opened up. The food and service was really good in the beginning but now it seems to be very lackluster. The quality control on their food have gone down — from unripe bananas on pancakes to uncooked potatoes in our hash browns. I have a toddler who has some food allergies and if they don’t care about their food preparation it makes me wonder if they are paying attention to my toddler’s food. Restaurant have two things to focus on — the food and customer service. Do them well and you will have repeat customers. Acknowledged your regular customers, make effort to know their named, they are your best advertisers.

This currently is my families to go spot for breakfast. When you arrive it can ve a little hard to find parking. We haven’t quite figured out what the best time to get here at is. We come in at 8am and usually have to wait 15 – 25 minutes and if you come after 8 it only it worse. Every server we’ve had so far have been very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Ive had 2 eggs, hash browns, and turkey sausage, a Greek feta chicken wrap and soup. I absolutely LOVE their hash browns, they are perfectly crisp. I wasnt too crazy about the soup I had, minestrone, it lacked flavor and tasted watered down but my wrap was delicious and large, I took the other half for lunch to work. Overall this place is great, and I recommend it, just get here early to beat the breakfast rush.

I never make reviews but I’m so disappointed I feel I need to share. First, we were seated to a soaking wet table that still wasn’t clean. We ended up asking for our food to go, I just was not feeling the busy, rushed environment. I wish I would’ve checked the food before leaving… I got the corned beef hash skillet with over easy eggs, disgusting. My hashbrowns were still basically cold they did not taste cooked at all, the corned beef tasted like cold mashed potatoes that I was scared to eat because they were not cooked, the green pepper was cut so huge. Also, the pancakes tasted like they had grains in them. Last but not least, the biscuits and gravy were soggy. I hate bashing restaurants but this first impression will be my last impression.

I’ve been coming here since they opened, and I loved their food. I’m not one to talk down on an restaurant. But as an executive chef myself I have to say that the last 5 times I’ve been here the food quality has suffered from what it used to be. From asking to a sunny side up egg, and receiving a fully cooked egg on my skillet to onions and tomatoes being poorly prepped, and I can’t forget the overly cooked potatoes on my skillet. If I was the owner I would sit down the the chef in charge and tell him to get his act together and start caring about the food he’s putting out, or let him go and find someone better. There is no excuse the chef should let anything under perfect walk out of his kitchen. If he doesn’t care about your food and the quality of what he’s putting out, he shouldn’t be there.

Savory has been going downhill since the first time I visited 3 years ago. if your potatoes aren’t basically raw or over cooked then it’s something else. Today I visited and got a Belgian Waffle with bananas, upon first bite I knew something was off. I thought at first it was the flour they used but after a few bites of just banana I realized that the papery taste in my mouth wasn’t from flour but from being served unripe bananas… I’m not sure what your kitchen management has been doing lately but I’m beginning to think he/she has just been catching up on beauty sleep back there. While most people may like how quickly the food comes out I personally would rather wait a few extra minutes for quality food. Side note: please don’t wheel out a trash can looking storage container full of juice out from the kitchen and refill your bubbly right in front of your full dining room without taking it back and cleaning it first… I am actually concerned with how clean my orange juice I was drinking is.

I’m always eager to try new brunch places and was excited when my in-laws brought us here yesterday for breakfast. Savoury looks very promising — a fresh-faced building in a nice shopping strip area with a warm, inviting interior. A large container of organic olive oil sat at the front counter with some empty bottles — for filling, I suppose. Well… beyond the first impression, the visit wasn’t off to a great start. We arrived somewhat early to beat the Sunday brunch crowd to see only one couple waiting before us. Great. We put our name in for a table of eight, sat down in the waiting area, and waited. During the next forty minutes, groups of people came in, waited briefly, and were seated. None of the groups were was large as ours, but we did see a couple tables of five or six get seated rather quickly. What! So… we waited. And waited. FORTY minutes. The wait wouldn’t be so bad if we were quoted that wait and everyone that came after us also waited, but we were the only ones waiting that long! Ridiculous! The staff was apologetic and nice about the wait, but I was grumbling inside. Once seated, we were squished around two small square tables. I had the fortune of sitting in the middle where two uneven tables came together. Kind of awkward. For that long wait, we should have had a better table set-up, in my opinion… sigh. Our waitress came quickly and took our orders(we had looked at the menus prior to being seated so we could order fast). I ordered a coffee, strawberry crepes(YES! Loooove crepes!), and a side of hash browns. Other people at my table got chicken and waffles, chocolate chip pancakes, and regular brunch fare. Everyone stuffed themselves and enjoyed their meals. My coffee was good, the crepes were delicious(although I had to request whip cream after it was served), and the hash browns were OK. Best brunch ever? Nope. But good enough? YES! I am thankful the food was good or the wait would have been worthless. Also, $ 7.99 for a massive plate of crepes? That’s kind of awesome. If I come back, I’m getting the crepes again.

Not bad. Been here a few times. The menu selection is pretty good, but the quality suffers significantly as it gets busier. For example — on a busy saturday late morning, the hash browns were extremely undercooked. That said, when it’s not too busy the food is pretty good. It’s also the only breakfast joint in the area.

Best breakfast place around. This place and burnt toast are both really good! The German pancake is so delicious! Giant but so rich and fluffy. So good!!!

Never disappoints. Great breakfast place but prepare to wait. We wait a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes every time during the morning rush. I’ve tried most everything on menu but my favorite is the eggs Benedict, 3 different kinds including pesto one and all very tasty. Food service is fast and the coffee is always got and flowing constantly.

The breakfast at Savoury is hands-down the best in this area! We’ve been coming here since they opened, and we’ve never had a bad entrée. I love the bacon and onion skillet, it’s simple but it’s really good. They have fresh-squeezed orange juice that’s amazing! I’ve also become a fan of their red velvet pancakes. I haven’t seen them at any other restaurant nearby, and they’re sooo good! Why 3 stars? Service! And for the most part, it’s not the actual wait staff, it’s the family that owns the restaurant(and hold various positions). You would think that after coming here somewhat regularly for the past 8⁄9 years, that someone would recognize us and maybe say something like«hey guys, how are you?». But no, that has not once happened. They always act as if we’re strangers to the neighborhood. What’s most frustrating is the family hostess. We continue to come back because we know the meal will be good, but we consistently have to deal with someone who acts like it’s difficult to greet us, direct us to a table and take our money. I’m sorry, maybe put a smile on your face and remember that it’s your customers, like my family, who keep you open. Maybe be gracious, friendly, and welcoming and you’ll grow your business even more! We even had an experience at another breakfast place in St. Charles, got to talking to another family at the next table who now refuses to go back there for the same reason! As for my family, I always say I’m never coming back, but I’m writing this review as I’m waiting for a table. Expecting the same experience.

Another excellent breakfast place! Excellent, affordable place with great food. I haven’t eaten here for dinner or lunch only for breakfast so I can only attest to the quality of their breakfast places. I’ll sum it up… Excellent portions Excellent quality Excellent prices That’s all you need for a great breakfast place. Coffee is excellent, the place is clean and the wait staff is very polite. Highly recommend.

The food was good. The coffee was a bit weak. I like stronger coffee. The waiting time was about 45min and while we waited they let another group sit before us who arrived after us. We told the the young guy about it and he said they had a reservations since the previous day. We had called before to make a reservation and we where told they didn’t do reservations. The waitress was supper nice. We didn’t wait that long for food. I wouldn’t recommend this place for breakfast unless you want to wait, food is not bad. I noticed people where waiting all the time.

My husband and I had a pleasant experience when we visited Savoury for breakfast one weekend. Sure, we had to wait for about 20 minutes(as you have to do for practically every other breakfast spot — the good ones anyway!), but out server was very nice when we were seated. You know, right away, that this is a family restaurant. The owners and their children and grandchildren could be seen all around the front desk. I had the Rocky Mountain Savoury Crêpe — a crêpe filled with ham, bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms, topped with cheddar cheese. It was so good. I also had a mimosa and it was delicious! My husband wanted to try something new so he had the Gyros Skillet, a great choice at a Greek-owned restaurant. The skillet had gyros meat, tomatoes, onions, and feta cheese, topped with two eggs. Also very good. We did not feel rushed to leave and had a great experience there. Service was good and the food was great. We can’t wait to return!
