Papa Saverio’s Pizzeria

As Pizza Cucina, this place had decent pizza with acceptable crust. Since it changed to Papa Saverio’s we have given it numerous tries, each time very disappointed. This last time was it, we are never returning. The crust was like a cracker on the bottom and not fully cooked on the inside, raw. The sauce tastless. The veggies were placed raw under the cheese, so that when put in the oven, turned watery which further washed out the taste. Way too much cheese.

This used to be Pizza Cucina. Usually we would order for pick up. Our usual is chicken parm over spaghetti. We ordered this again today. We noticed the first ‘change’ in the garlic breadsticks, used to be garlic bread. Portions are much smaller, spaghetti used to fill up the entire aluminum foil container, now it looks half. The marinara sauce is extremely sour and way too much sauce in proportion to the spaghetti. The chicken was noticeably drier than before and it tasted like a frozen patty. Disgusting. It used to be covered and smothered with cheese, now the cheese was just enough to cover the patty, which, also was much smaller. This will probably be the last time we order from this place again.

This is easily the best pizza in Bartlett and they send out great coupons. Most people in Bartlett will tell you the V&V has the best pizza, but in the past few years, their pizza quality has taken a nosedive. If you haven’t yet, order a pizza from here. You won’t be disappointed!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner after our first choice ended up not being what we thought is should be (fast food vs. sit-​down). The waitress was friendly and attentive but it could have been because there was only one other table with guests. We chose the $ 25 1 appitizer, 2 entrée special. The bruschetta was pretty good; crispy bread and plenty of topping. The entrees were good but nothing spectacular. Others have said the pizza was good so maybe a second visit for that is in order.
My opinion is that this restaurant is still trying to find itself. They use fancy serving plates yet have paper napkin dispensers on the tables. The menu has everything from hot dogs to Chicken Marsala. It almost seems that it wants to be a carry out place with a restaurant tacked on to the side.

This place has great food and service will be back

We have ordered carry-​out many times, however we dined-​in once. The pizza is far better eating in-​house vs. the drive home or delivery. It’s crispier and obviously hotter. :)

Surprisingly, very good pizza on my first try!
This place just opened about a few months back and I had been wanting to try it for awhile, having heard ‘pretty good’ ratings about the place.
Cheese and sausage pizza was extremely good, still hot when I got it home (I live about 4 miles away).
Cheesburgers were very good. Very well-​done, but good. For those of you who may want it medium well or less, I would ask them to prepare it that way.
I would def try this place again. I haven’ yet tried anything else on the menu, but the pizza seemed very good, and I am usually picky. There is a ton of food to choose from on the menu and they even do catering.
