Maid Brigade of Bartlett

Don’t hire this firm if you want «deep cleaning.» I only wanted my first floor done (all Pergo). They charged me $ 130 for deep cleaning. They did not move any furniture, they did not dust anything higher than their shoulders, they did not vacuum under the sofa or chair cushions, and best yet… to make my floors look shiny, they used Murphy’s Oil Soap. When I called to complain, they came back to redo the floors several hours later. My guests started to arrive, and the guests were told they had to stay outside until they were done. I called the ‘management’ back to see if I could get a break on the price, and all they could tell me is that the crew that serviced my home was very reliable. In short – I was not telling them the truth. They did not offer to send someone (a supervisor) back to see the condition my home was in, nor did they lower the price or offer anything for my frustration. EEK! Methinks not.

I have used Maid Brigade twice, most recently to clean an empty house that is for sale. Both times I was extremely satisfied. They arrived on time, worked steadily, did all tasks identified, price was fair. Will certainly use this service again.

I do not normally write reviews, but my experience was so disappointing I felt compelled to warn other to stay away from Maid Brigade of Bartlett. If it were an option, I would give them zero stars.
Signed up for a bi-​weekly cleaning but fired them after the initial deep clean.
Beware, what the website lists as the standard deep clean items is NOT what you get. I called the day after the deep clean to inform them of a few areas that were not cleaned well and asked about the other areas listed as standard deep clean items that were completely ignored (such as insides of windows, patio and front door, as well as bathroom and kitchen cabinets. I was told that if I wanted the items listed as standard I would have to ask for them and pay extra… ABSURD!!! I was told that I was looking at the corporate website and they do not honor that… again COMPLETELY ABSURD!!!
The 2 girls did come back to clean the bathroom floor which had a nasty film on the granite tile after the first cleaning. They were there a total of 10 minutes and the next day they charged my credit card for a full bi-​weekly cleaning. They did reverse the charge, but that just gives you another example of how poorly this franchise is managed. STAY AWAY…
