Had a craving and stopped into this Dairy Queen because they are open all season long. Well apperantly they have nothing that is in there menu. I ended up ordering a Brownie batter blizzard and it wow it was soooo nasty the pieces inside were so hard i couldnt believe it. Such a shame i love me so Dairy Queen but I definitely would be willing to drive out to find a better location to get my fix on.

This Dairy Queen refuses to let you buy extra toppings… I ordered a small ice cream cone with crunch and a side of crunch… This is the only store that will not let you buy extra toppings … Do not go to this one

We went inside to order.yuck. Please clean your facility from top to bottom and then again. The ice cream was decent but please clean the place. There were 3 kids working. One needed to be on clean duty. I love DQ but sad when the owners could care less of what they’ve got.

Although this is my local Dairy Queen, I am not overly impressed with them. Sure the drive thru is convenient. And they have the expected ingredients on hand. But, their service is middle of the road. And worse, their blizzards leave something to be desired. There’s nothing wrong with the ice cream, but there is something wrong with their execution. More often than not, they don’t put all of the ingredients into the blizzard that we order. This is quite annoying since we pay extra for extra ingredients. Most recently I ordered the special blizzard of the month and had them add one item to it. It may as well have been a plain cup of ice cream. Four ingredients should have been in the cup with the ice cream, but I only received a light portion of two. When I called to talk with a manager, there was no one on duty to talk with. Yet another reason not to be thrilled. No one to even apologize for their shortcomings. We will probably be back, but only out of convenience and I think we are done ordering blizzards from this location. We should stick to dilly bars and buster bars that are premade.

Just a typical Dairy Queen with a drive thru. Seating outside for hot summer days or evenings. A/C inside with plenty of tables to cool off with your ice cream treat and music playing overhead(maybe a pop radio station). One wall inside is lined with freezers showcasing prepackaged take out treats like Dilly Bars, Star Kiss Bars, ice cream cakes and such. This DQ is on Lake Street and Oak Avenue, near the border of Bartlett and Streamwood. Sir Nick’s Pizza is also in the same structure.
