They just moved!!! Now located on summer avenue close to high point terrace drive. This is such an authentic lil restaurant!!! The owners are so nice and the food taste delish. Whenever I want to get some real Latin food, don’t doubt and just go! It is a bit expensive but the food is great plus you’re helping a true local business!!! #eatlocal

This place was amazing! Everything was delicious. The pulled chicken was so flavorful, and I will definitely be coming back soon for the mango juice(with milk). It’s so thoughtfully decorated with happy colors throughout. The lady that runs it couldn’t be any nicer, except that she wouldn’t tell me her secret for her excellent coffee!

This was probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had while trying out a restaurant for the first time. I never went to the old location in Bartlett, but judging by the pictures, this is a definite upgrade. Now located in the busy Summer Avenue, the restaurant stands out by its outside neon colors. The inside is beautiful, colored with the Colombian flag colors and filled with Colombian articles in the walls. Super clean, super organized. The food was the highlight of my visit. I got to try the Arroz con Pollo(Chicken and Rice) and a Cheese Arepa. Being from Venezuela(right next to Colombia, think USA-Canada), these flavors were familiar, and brought back many memories. It tasted like pure homemade food, something rare nowadays. The arepa was big, cheesy and not too greasy. The chicken and rice was absolutely amazing and came with a salad. The staff was very friendly, and offered me a free cup of coffee after I was done eating, which was a nice gesture. I’ll be coming again.

I wanted to try something new so I stopped in to pick up some carryout to take to my family. I had never had columbian food before so I asked the waitress to help me pick a few items. She was very helpful and answered all of my questions without becoming frustrated with me. I ordered a couple of combo plates. Overall the food was good. There were some items I liked and others that weren’t so great, but maybe I’m not a huge lover of columbian food. The portions were good and the price was very reasonable. I wasn’t wowed by the food, but it was good enough that if in the area again I would give it one more try!

Everything at this restaurant is delicious. No joke. Fill your pie-hole with anything on the menu and it will be good. I just hope this place doesn’t close because every time I go in, the place is very empty.

Fresh and home made. This place is moving soon so if you live close get on it asap! After being in Tennessee for these two weeks this was a fantastic change up from deep fried everything and prime rib. I’m actually surprised they don’t offer deep fried prime rib here in Memphis, and sadly my ass would he it since I eat my feelings. So enough about me and my personal issues. I had the Arepa Rellena with sausage and the empanadas with chicken and cheese.(Cheese was way better) I also got Bandeja Paisa to go. Arepa Rellena was light and not heavy. To be honest I’m not the biggest fan of Colombian food which is the only reason it’s not five stars. If I was just grading food quality it would have been five. But I’m basing it on my enjoyment. Flan was ok but I don’t really like Flan I just ordered it to be a fat ass.

It is very easy to drive by this location as it is off the beaten path. I went with 8 friends and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The waitress was attentive. Yet it was clear she wasn’t accustomed to larger parties. The empanadas come with a clear sauce that has cilantro and it is divine! If you like plantains, you MUST try them here. My chicken was a tad dry, but the flavor compesated. You won’t find a variety of drinks here. They serve various juices, freshly made, as part of the cuisine.

Anyone who has read many of my reviews will see that I like to support the family run restaurants. The ladies working were very nice and attentive. Unfortunately the empanadas were not very good at all. The cheese was the best but I was very disappointed. Very little meat inside and what was there was mushy and flavorless. Doughy and not cooked all the way through they had a marginal texture also. Empanadas can be one of the best things you will ever eat when done well. The salsa was fresh and had a good flavor although I asked for hot and it had zero heat. $ 8.23 for 5 small empanadas and I was still hungry when I left. Hate it but I probably will not stop in again.

Old world charm, simple and clean, food was authentic and prepared well. not too much spices, but with gusto. Had the rice bean plate which was cooked well, didn’t like the egg poached, I like my eggs fried, but overall a good diversion.

Authentic, and delicious. You must have the«bandera paisa». I felt as if I were in Colombia eating at a local restaurant.

Appreciate authenticity? Then you should test this place for yourself. Everything is done from scratch… all the way down to the grinding of the corn from fresh every day. Stepping inside the simple strip center location, I was immediately impressed with the bright interior which was impeccably clean. Colombian music filtered softly through the air as it mingled with the delicate aroma…beckoning the hungry traveler. The owners are delightful. The menu refreshingly different. Salsa/amazing. Guacomole/simple perfection. Finish the meal with a perfectly proportioned natural Columbian coffee. Wow… just wow.

Ehhh. It was a one time stop. We stopped out of curiosity. There are only 10 tables in the place. The owner and staff are very curious and attentive. I had the arepas pollo and the chicken was dry dry dry. My daughter has the empanadas and they were good. It’s to bad the location is so out of the way. I may not have a taste for Columbian food.
