Long John Silver’s

As an out of towner, let’s just say that this place is in no hurry to get you your food. They’re definitely on Oklahoman time, not on your time.

This is more for the A&W part of this place rather than Long John Silvers but since it seems that these two fast food chains are connected then I will leave my feedback here since this is the exact location for A&W.
My husband and I are fairly new to the Bartlesville area and decided to try out the fast food restaurants that were around. We had a run in with a couple of other fast food places and weren’t happy so we figured since we love the A&W root beer we minus-​well try their food out as well. Well, the case here was not any different than some of the other places we’ve tried.
So on lunch break we decided to visit A&W (which is the same building as Long John Silvers). They were busy but what fast food restaurant isn’t during lunch time. So as we went to place our order we had three orders. First order was a Original Bacon Cheeseburger with a mountain dew, Second order was an Original Bacon Double Cheeseburger without mayo and onions and the final order was chicken strips (not the kids meal) since it was for an adult. My husband specified that the order was NOT to be for a child and if that was doable. The drive-​thru person stated yes that is doable. After making sure the order was correct we drove around to get our meal. By the time we got back to where we needed to be, I checked each meal to make sure that they were correct. Unfortunately everything was a fail. The First Order of Original Bacon Cheeseburger had no mayo or onion on it (which was wrong, that was to be exactly as it is suppose to be made and it was served on two heels (two bottom halves of hamburger buns), instead of a crown and a heel, top and bottom of a hamburger bun), the Second Order of Original Bacon Double Cheeseburger was to have NO Mayo and NO onion (which was wrong as well, it ended up having tons of mayo on it and a large half of onion stuffed in it on two crowns, instead of a crown and a heel. Meaning it had two top halves of a burger bun, instead of a top and bottom). As for the Third Order of an Adult sized meal of Chicken strips, we received a children sized order with a lollipop in it, but they managed to at least give an adult sized drink with this kids meal.
When my husband called the facility and spoke to the manager of A&W, he gave the excuse that «oh, well we were busy but we will send you a coupon in the mail for a free meal». This does not resolve the current mess up that they made and being that you are in a «FAST FOOD» restaurant you SHOULD be use to being busy. If you weren’t busy, you would be out of a job. This shouldn’t be a new thing to you that your restaurant was busy.
Least to say, we will never be going back to this location. Corporate was contacted and the situation has left us with a bitter taste with this location. If you have other A&W’s or you have other choices, choose your other choices and save yourself the headache.
