Golden Corral

Packed up their truck and got out of town in the Summer of ’15…now we have another giant building sitting empty… sigh*

Me and my wife stopped in for Sunday breakfast and food was dry or over cooked also fruit was sour not worth the money !!! Very Unsatisfied

We visited this Golden Corral on Christmas day for a nice lunch with 2 adults and 4 kids totaling $ 71.37 receipt # f-​0160 term 2. The prices that we paid were higher than what the sign said and no explanation was given. This was a disaster from the beginning. This particular store was understaffed and over booked. We waited 10 mins in line for drinks, because they ran out of clean cups. As we were next in line, my wife decided to take the kids to get a table. My wife told the kids to stay at the table so she could help me get to the table. As i was paying for the lunch, my wife came up to the register and said we were leaving. She said this man just told us to leave because the tables were first come first serve. Um we were next, the man said he was the owner and he didn’t care if we were next. I explained again that we were next and he said they could not sit until I had paid. And this was how he want to run his store and if want a refund we could get a refund or wait 15 mins in line again. I tried explain how you could tell a person that has a disability that they cannot have a table for disabilities. The table he gave to a party to we found out afterwards people told us he knew and was letting them all sit together. I have never experienced before being told my disability doesn’t matter and I don’t matter. As I listened to the conversation between him and my wife. He said he told my kids to get up and leave the table and go find their parents. This is a huge safety issue since they were sitting in a safe view from my wife. When they got up she could not see them. This is unbelievable that A NATIONWIDE BRAND would treat people with or without a disability this way. Not only did insult my wife and me he done this in front of the entire store, but was very aggressive to my wife and 10 year old daughter. Now to the food. The food was horrible. There was no turkey just the bones. The ham was cold. They ran out of stuffing, potatoes, corn on the cob, rolls, mac n cheese and shrimp. There were no steaks ready and rest of sides were picked through. The desserts were gross. The cakes were frozen in the center almost like they took it out of freezer and decorated it. The dessert shots were nasty watery and pudding looked crusted. The chocolate fountain was uncleaned and not even looked after. Chocolate was crusted over and food stuck to it. The floors had food dropped on and people stepping and walking in food. The only bright star was the server Geo he was very apologetic and tried to make the rest of our meal better.

Food was lukewarm at best. Carrots were so overcooked, a light touch of the spoon turned them into baby food consistency. Steak was massively overcooked and underseasoned. Chicken was cool enough it was probably in the danger zone. Not tecommended, not going back. Should have just gone down the street and hit up Chili’s.
