Food is good for Bartlesville, but showed up on a Friday night at 8:15PM and was told that the kitchen is closed, but the restaurant closes at 9:00 and there is not enough time for your order. With this kind of service and attitude from the chef/owner??? Not worth it to go back ever — Bartlesville quit supporting this snobbish establishment– we won’t!

Great place if you have 2 hours to kill. The wait to be served is unbelievable. The food is always exceptional, but it is very frustrating to order my drink and then 20 minutes later be asked what I want to order. This place doesn’t have many tables so I don’t understand what the problem is.

LOVE the chicken salad sandwich; Best I’ve ever had. I get my food to go usually so I don’t have to deal with the crowds. Not a fan of homemade chips(in general), though.

The food was outstanding and the service was great. We loved the salmon and calamari so much we had to go back the second night we were in town and eat there again.

We go here every time we are in Bartlesville. Service is always fast and friendly. Ordered the artichoke spinach dip which was so good I could have made this my meal. My hubs and I split the park loin dinner which he said was awesome.(Sadly the pork was a little tough) the sides potatoes and steamed spinach were delicious. Our friends ordered the calamari as a meal, the meatloaf plate, and the catfish and they all raved about their food. For dessert we ordered the bread pudding it is I think the most amazing thing on the menu(but you need to order when you order your meal as they cook it while you are eating)

High praise for their green chili drenched burger masterpiece. Bravo! Not sure they need to serve anything else, this was so good. Amazing to me that the chili was terrific but you could still taste the delicious hamburger hidden beneath. An excellent pairing. The ice cold Shiner Bock was also the perfect accompaniment.

My wife and I went here to celebrate my birthday. I can’t remember what I ordered. I can’t remember what the service was like(although if it had been bad, surely I would have remembered). I can’t remember what my wife and I talked about over dinner. But I do remember that my wife ordered a burger made from Oklahoma beef that was absolutely DROWNING in delicious green chili, and my goodness, it was a treat. If you’re in Bartlesville, I would put trying that green chili burger up way high on your list of life priorities, and don’t forget to mop up the extra green chili with your french fries. (Ancillary details: business was brisk for a Wednesday night, we waited 5 – 10 minutes for a table, the volume level was moderate for a large crowd, the restrooms were clean, etc. etc.)

Quite the Bartlesville oasis. Simple, but good and fresh salsa w/chips. AMAZING burger made with local beef, never frozen. Delicious spaghetti and meatballs special. Incredible bread pudding w/bourbon sauce for dessert. Marshall beers on tap. What an unexpected treat. I’m in Bartlesville once a year and will surely be back!

They have some of the best pulled pork here! It’s the only thing I ever order because it’s so good. It’s the juiciest, most flavorful, no fat pulled pork. Absolutely delicious!

Good food in a trendy store! We had the green chili burger, excellent fries, patty melt, and onion rings. All the food was fresh and hot. The service was very good. A good go-to place!

Just do the Green Chili Burger! It’s fabulous! It’s a lot of food! Loved the place, and the bicycles hanging on the roof. Service is great too!

This place has the charm of a small town diner and the taste of a gourmet restaurant. What a gem nestled on the corner of a street in Bartlesville. The service was quick and cordial and the food was scrumptious and delightful. I had the patty melt which was cooked perfectly. Very tasty! I will definitely be back the next time that I am passing through.

Really great food and atmosphere downtown. I love that they get their ground beef from a local meat market and their Johnny burger with jalapeño cream cheese is incredible. Would get 5 stars is they weren’t so picky with changes to orders. I requested extra pickles and was rudely told«the kitchen doesn’t like special orders.» If they consider that a «special order» then they clearly need some perspective. I was also charged $.50 for a small amount of extra pickles… charging extra for that is pretty unstandard and has made me go elsewhere more often. Great bands for live music and food is excellent but waitstaff and overall attitude need to change a bit

This should be the number one place in town. The curry soup was gourmet quality. The service was friendly and fast. I had the pulled pork and it was very different from any pulled pork I’d get back home. The music in the background was also really cool! Loved this place!

This place is a gem in Bartlesville. Came in from out of state not expecting to find a place with uniqueness but was proven wrong. Loved the green chile cheese fries and burger. Who knew combining green chile would blend so well. That and the quality of the beef was superb, local and fresh.

The best restaurant in Bartlesville. I imagine their sub-5 star rating is the result of rumors their beef comes not from cows, but rather the souls of purgatorial undead. I’m fairly sure this is only a rumor, though. It tastes pretty cow-like to me. If you’re lucky enough to be a Levianithic sea beast with the gut capacity to devour worlds, order everything on the menu, do so. You won’t regret it.

After a year of eating here, I have never been disappointed with their quality and consistency. Tonight I had the Sweet Field Greens Salad topped with a generous portion of Salmon and a cup of their Soup of the Day, a very satisfying Chicken Tortilla Soup made with lots of shredded chicken, vegetables and a homemade chicken stock. Sooo good. Went with my family consisting of three children 13 and under. They love the place too. It is always worth the wait, when there is a line… which is most of the time.

Really expected more from this well recommend restaurant. That just isn’t the case first there was a 20 min wait, thats not to bad. Then they charge 1.25 for can soda ridiculous, 1.50 for ice tea under priced. We ordered stuff mushrooms that were very good for 9 dollars. I ordered a garden salad that was spring lettuce and 2 carrot spears and 2 tomatoes. That was 6 dollars still not bad. The problem is this and is why they received a 1 star. After a 45 min wait for 20oz ribeye(don’t get ahead of me yet) that cost 20 dollar each. The ribeyes came out with fries under the steak and mushrooms on top. Now one was to be medium, it was rare. The other was to be well done it was medium if at best. Fries underneath were soggy and cold and mushroom tasted like the were from a can. For 63 dollars this place needs to work on its kitchen staff. The atmosphere was very confined almost like we could hear the persons thoughts. Bicycles hanging from the ceiling and almost bar feel not a grill. Hoped for the best came out hungry guess its Mcdonalds tonight.

I never knew Bartlesville could do hip and trendy but apparently it does. This is wonderful place. My family stopped by for lunch and was lucky enough to snag a table outside. The weather was perfect(not the typical hot and muggy ok summer) and enjoyed the view of old town Bartlesville. I had the BLT which was amazing. Great high quality ingredients well assembled. Others in the party had the pulled pork which left the eater with a wide grin. Another ordered the green chile and was also extremely pleased. The interior of the restaurant is also very hip and has a great looking bar and pool table. The service was also excellent. The server was friendly and dealt with our underprepared group effortlessly. If you are in Bartlesville and need lunch come to this place!

Stopped in on a visit to Bartlesville. 3 people at the table got salmon and it was great! Others got burgers and really liked them as well. There’s not a ton of tables but there is a bar that filled up quickly. There are also a few tables outside. The atmosphere is a bit noisy but very relaxed. They definitely have a lunch rush, and I can see why! Service is very quick, and I can assume it’s ideal for a lunch break. The menu is small and you can grab a salad or a burger, or both. Overall a good experience.

This place is one of my go-tos when I’m in Bartlesville for business. It’s extremely convenient for anyone staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, and is a walk-able distance even with Oklahoma winters, which this Central Texan is not used to. People will tell you that their burgers are what they’re known for(they have a special sauce that is delicious, but if you’re calorie-conscious I would recommend putting on the side). However, my best experience was actually with their salmon salad. It’s really more of a whole salmon fillet PLUS a whole salad. Though their prices are not cheap, I definitely felt like this portion size made it worth it. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned quite well. It definitely surpassed my expectations. Contrary to a few reviews here, I had no problems with the service at all. The waiter came by and checked on us throughout the night, and even cracked a joke when one of my coworkers accidentally tried to pay her bill with a Panera giftcard. She blamed it on her eyesight. They’ve now nicknamed her ‘Panera’. If you’re coming on a weeknight though, you do run the risk of a really long wait. I’ve had that problem when coming in earlier, but when I showed up around 7:30 or so, I was lucky enough to be seated immediately.

I really like Frank & Lola’s. I try to go every time my husband’s band plays at their restaurant on the weekends, and the food is always on point. It’s a highlight in Bartlesville and well worth the drive for a fun evening date. The service is friendly and fast, and they’re good about giving you just the right amount of time when they check in to see how everything is. I appreciate that they actually give me a chance to sample the food before asking me how everything is(isn’t that maddening when servers do that?). I appreciate and respect their commitment to serving the food as-is, because they clearly know what goes where and makes everything taste perfect. No, they don’t have A1 sauce for the ribeye. No, you can’t get a kale salad instead of mashed potatoes. But maybe, when you’re at a place where the cooks are serving up some serious food wizardry, that’s the way it should be to get a real culinary treat. Last visit, I enjoyed the catfish plate and my husband had the ribeye(which he always gets, because steak). The catfish is incredible — well breaded, flaky and white — perfectly served up on a bed of mashed potatoes and spinach… spinach so good I found myself digging around under the catfish looking for more to add to each bite. I do wish the tables were more well-maintained(some wobble), but the quirky diner atmosphere is fun and casual and takes some of the pomp out of a really high end food experience. I’ll be back. If I’m lucky, maybe my husband will let me have a bite of his ribeye next time!
