Typically not a fan of Fairfield Inn’s — just in general. However, this one exceeded my expectations. Very nice and clean. Friendly staff. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Overall, great stay. Nice hotel.

I would love to give negative stars!!! We checked into this hotel last weekend. It was the absolute worst experience ever! We walked into a room that had a horrible odor. It smelled like a boy’s locker room. The entire bathroom was filthy. The TV did not work! We decided to make the best of it and tough it out. We started taking showers and the towels did not look or smell clean. The final straw was the bed bugs. I have picture proof of all! We immediately left after finding the bugs. We had been in the room a very short time. We tried to contact the manager but she will not return our calls. We contacted corporate but they state that the have to email the manager and allow her 3 – 5 days to respond. Marriott has lost a customer!

I stayed at this property 2 years ago and everything was great. This stay our room was not cleaned and the front desk couldn’t be bothered to even bring fresh towels. Hopefully you like the smell of chlorine, it will knock you down when you walk in because of the indoor pool. The manager Sherri was really nice when I explained the room and towel situation. I think there are better options in town for the money.

The bathroom is in poor condition. We did not get our room serviced and when I called the front desk the lady was not at all surprised and of course housekeeping had already left for the day. The«market place» is over priced and basically empty. The dish network is constantly cutting out. At no fault of the hotel there is construction occurring behind the property so be prepared to be woke up at 7 am!

Let me say the good things before the rest of this review: — extremely friendly and personable staff — free breakfast — free cookies — clean and functioning workout room Now on to the rest of the review: I had to make a reservation two weeks out and with no Vacancy at some of the first choice hotels, I booked this place. Since it is part of the Marriott chain, I thought it would be a fairly decent place to stay. I was not impressed. I was here for about a week, arrived on a Sunday and walked in to check in and was hit by a miserable wall of stench. It was the smell of an over-chlorinated pool trying to be masked by WAY too much air freshener that smelled like men’s cologne. The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly and helpful and got me checked in, and I went up to my room. As I walked into my room I was greeted with another lovely scent… this time it smelled musty and kind of like dirty laundry. Exhausted from traveling I looked around for a place to put my suitcase, but there was not a luggage stand, so I just put it on the floor of the closet. When I went to sit on the bed, I realized how uncomfortable I would be the next few nights. The bed was terribly hard and I could practically feel the coils in my back when I went to lay down. I tried to look past this since I was only going to be there for a few days, but when I went to place some left overs in the mini fridge, I was disgusted. I found what was I think, someones old, dried, smeared gum covered in layers of dust from where they skipped out on cleaning(see the pictures). Among other things, my bathtub was clogged and within a few minutes of showering you were ankle deep in water. I didn’t even bother asking for another room because the feedback I heard from others who were staying there and who have stayed there, the other rooms wouldn’t have been much better. I’ve seen other fairfields that were actually quite nice to stay in, but this one just needs some TLC. If I can help it, I will book earlier next time and stay somewhere else.

New rooms, terrible market, can’t find anything except water and chips. Marriott might as well start calling a vending machine a super market. Awfully few power points in the room that are not comfortably located.

Atrociously slow internet(–1 star) Poor construction of the bathroom(–1) Cheap Rates(+1) Free dinner on Tuesdays(+1) Free beer with dinner on Tuesdays(+1) Other noteworthy: only 2 treadmills and 1 elliptical in the gym. Small pool with some sort of film over it… *****I have added 2 star to my previous review. The customer service and the manager is superb and they treat each guest like they are platinum.
