Enterprise Rent-A-Car

So far we have had three car rentals from Enterprise, and have had car troubles with all three. I don’t know what’s going on with their vehicle maintenance team, but someone is dropping the ball somewhere.
However, Enterprise continues to redeem themselves with excellent and fast customer service. We have disputed charges these three times and they have been willing to work with us on our rental agreements.
Also, changes made «on-​the-​fly» are pretty easy to do. The occurred when we needed to keep our rental and drive it back across country.
We’ll see how next time goes. Fingers crossed for no more car issues
Recommendation– make sure before you pick up a car that the mileage is low and servicing is all up to date with no approaching services needed for a while.

I have rented from Enterprise all over the world since since 1995. I’m also a Platinum Member as well with Enterprise. I’m writing this review after reading some of the other reviews that were negative. I was renting from this location because I had too and I was a little concerned due to some of the bad reviews… This was my experience at this location. I walked in and had a reservation. There was no line and they had 4 – 5 cars on the lot. I was told they did not have my car class available and they will up grade me to a truck. I said ok since the price was the same. I spent less 3 – 5 minutes at the counter. I go outside and to my surprise I got a Brand New 2015 Ram 1500. The truck still had the plastic on it and Mich was kind enough to remove all of it within 2 – 3 minutes. The truck had less then 100 miles on it and had the wonderful smell of a Brand New Truck! It was such a special treat because this dose not happen often. I keep the truck for a extra few days just because it was brand new and I loved it. I came to drop the truck off and Traven helped me. It took no longer than 5 min or less. I told him what a wonderful and good experience I had. He gave me a ride back. It was one of the best rental experience’s I’ve ever had and I’ve had a ton of rental experience over the years. Don’t let someone’s 1 bad experience give you doubt about this location. I’ve had over 5 perfect/​outstanding rental experience’s at this location and I will use them again when I need to. Thank you for doing a great job and being very professional Traven and Mitch! I’ll be back soon to rent again!

What a joke of a location. I had a reservation for a 7 passenger vehicle. When I showed up to pick it up they told me they didn’t have one for me, even though there was one in the lot. They said it was reserved for someone else but I could take a 15 passenger van instead. When I asked if I could have the 7 passenger and the other party take the 15 they said they were keeping it for the other party. My reservation apparently meant nothing. I called corporate and am waiting for a call back. That didn’t help the situation now, though.

I luckily had a wonderful time working with Diane the manager and Traven. My car broke down enroute to Las Vegas as we were moving. Had to leave my car at the dealership but had to move my family and household goods to Las Vegas. They helped me get the best rate and were even able to put me in a car that I wanted. At first all they had was a Tahoe which is more than I needed. Told them that I wanted to save as much money as possible and they worked out a last minute deal for a versa. Appreciated all there help and professionalism. I would definitely rent from them again.

If I could give this place no stars I would. The guy I spoke to on the phone when I made my reservation is obviously the manager or person who is always dealing with customers. He always answers the phone and when I rented from there twice before he helped me. I told him I needed the car for Friday after asking a few questions that he seemed like he didn’t want to answer nor had time to. When I showed up on Friday to pick up my car the lot was empty!!! I walk in and see the same guy that I spoke to behind the counter on his cell phone. After waiting ten minutes he gives me a dirty look and I stand up to tell him I’m here to pick up a car. He just looks at me and says he has none available and if I had called he would have!!! I was so furious at the lack of professionalism, and customer service. I just walked out after having him deny even talking to me. I will be calling the customer service number to make a complaint. I have never been spoken to this way and felt as though someone in a management position cared so little about customers and his job. DONT WASTE YOU TIME AND MONEY HERE GETTING TREATED AS THOUGH YOU ARE DOING THEM A FAVOR BY RENTING THERE.

This CSR was not helpful at all. He evidently did not want my money. He had no suggestions to help, seemed like he was reading a teleprompter reciting the rules about renting a car without a credit card. Even though I had rented from them before, I was no longer considered for rental because I had moved and no longer lived in Barstow. When I asked to speak to the Manager, he informed me he WAS the manager, and he wasn’t interested in helping me in any way. I have rented from Enterprise for years, including this franchise, and I was appalled. I suggest if you need to rent a car, go somewhere else. You wll be treated better, I’m sure!
