Jessica did my makeup for my wedding, and it was perfect! Not only is she very talented, but she is a genuine and awesome person. All of my bridesmaids loved her. We took photos is 90-​degree heat, were crazy sweaty, and the makeup held up great! She gave me a lipstick to keep which was all I needed. I would HIGHLY recommend her.

Many a girl has gone on the quest for the holy grail of the makeup world — a perfect red lipstick. Buried at the bottom of makeup drawers everywhere are what I like to call various shades of «clown makeup.» Why are perfect vintage red lips so hard to get? Isn’t trying to apply liquid eyeliner hard enough?!
I found my perfect shade in Bomber Betty’s. Bomber Betty’s is more than a custom makeup shop. The new shop in Barrington is a consultation, color collaboration and vintage hangout all wrapped in one. At the grand opening party today — us girls around the table were looking for a muted day red, a cool-​tone bold red and a winter appropriate pink. I have no idea how what I saw in my head was created right before my eyes (especially given my vague description of «not too red and not too blue, but still a blue red red.”) This place hits the nail on the head for beauty products. I would love to see them possibly pair up with a vintage clothes reproduction company in the future.
The bridal room is beautiful, and this would be a cute shop for bridal party photos. Apparently, they are going to be offering pin up photo shoots with hair and makeup as well! Super cute. I loved my experience here. There were some mixups on prices (such as lipstick that was offered at $ 20 ended up costing $ 25), but I’m happy to cut them some slack since it was their first open shop day. This is worth the trip from the city!

I love Her make up. I got to experience her make up at Viva Las Vegas a few years back… I am addicted to BB foundation, brow «stuff» and powder… oh oh oh and her custom made and flavored lip stick… too die for! Need to go order foundation… I am in my 50’s and this works marvelous for me, but I love knowing that she knows how to make her own make up so as I age I really feel great knowing I have my own custom make up Specialist!

Jessica did my make up for my wedding, and I have never felt or looked that beautiful in my entire life. Seriously. I usually don’t hug strangers, but when Jessica was done with my make up, I wanted to hug and thank her forever.
She will sit down with you for all long as you need to talk about the style of your wedding first. Then you and she will talk about what you want to look like – what features to highlight, color scheme, etc. I loved that she and I talked for almost 30 minutes before she put a speck of make up on my face. She really listens to what you want, instead of just making you look like another standard glamour shots girl.
The fact that Jessica also creates her own make up line is awesome. This meant to me that she not only understood the application process, but as well as the chemicals going into the make up, so if you have skin issues, she can totally work around it. Also, it’s pretty fantastic that she has her own make up line.
If Jessica is still doing make up when I have my 25 year vow renewal, I will definitely hunt her down for the job. I can’t say enough positive things about her. If you utilize her services, you will not be disappointed.

I first met Jessica at a salon demonstration day. I was able to see, first hand, the application of eyelash extensions and received a free sample of her lip gloss– I was hooked!
I have always had short, fine lashes and using an eyelash curler and mascara was a time consuming, daily experience, especially with 2 little ones. I had concerns about the staying power and if I would have any trouble because I wear contacts. Well, Jessica has been applying my eyelash extensions for over 3 years and I receive compliments everywhere I go.
The make up is wonderful, too. I am not a huge fan of a really made up look. I love the powder foundation because it gives such natural coverage. I never thought I could use a powder eyeliner and now it is a staple in my make up bag. The colors are just beautiful– so many to choose from!
Bomber Betty also offers lip gloss kits which have been a huge hit with my daughters and their friends. They are the perfect gift for a pre-​teen/​teen girl.

I treated myself to Jessica’s services for my headshot photo shoot when I started a new business. And what a treat it was! After losing a close friend to cancer, getting divorced and being diagnosed with cancer all within 18 months, I needed a jumpstart for my life. Jessica was a pleasure to work with — she made me look and feel beautiful! I have referred her several times since. She is extremely reliable and professional and is on the cutting edge of her art. I also use her custom blended mineral foundation and yummy lipgloss.

Jessica (owner of Bomber Betty) gave me an especially helpful makeup lesson yesterday. Her talent for teaching is unmatched… I really needed help working with colors and learning how to properly apply makeup. I was able to take what she showed me yesterday and reproduce it this morning before work.
