St Michaels Little Angels Christian Preschool

I’m so surprised this school doesn’t have more reviews! I stumbled upon this preschool based on sheer proximity to my house — and a toddler program for my only son. I have been pleasantly surprised at every turn. I had planned on sending my son to the local Catholic preschool because that’s where we are parishioners. Needless to say, my son is now 4 and we just signed him up for his last year at LA! We also now have twin almost-​two year olds in the toddlers program. We have been so impressed with the play based curriculum, flexibility of scheduling (like early and late drop off, enrichment classes) and the emotional support our children are provided there. They also have a great summer camp program! What really sets this preschool apart is the quality of the staff: so qualified and CARING. From the director to the aides, everyone seems to genuinely care for every student and try to get to know them as a part of the Little Angels family. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this school for your little one!

A wonderfully warm and flexible preschool for our preschooler. Our daughter loves her caring teachers and gets so excited for the many creative enrichment classes offered. We couldn’t be happier!

Little Angels Christian Preschool is hands down the best preschool in the Barrington. The staff is warm, supportive, highly educated, and caring. The curriculum is research-​based and directly supports student growth into the Barrington 220 school system. The creative enrichment classes are also a highlight. Your preschooler will learn not only strong academic skills, but also the social-​emotional skills necessary for success! The parent advisory board and parent community is strong and FUN! All three of my kids have attended Little Angel’s preschool. It is a wonderful preschool in the Village of Barrington. We have just one more year left at the preschool until the youngest graduates!
Little Angels is NAEYC accredited which is not easy to get. That isn’t a requirement for my preschool decision, but it does indicate that the school takes their role seriously and that they provide high quality curriculum! They do a fantastic job of preparing the preschoolers for Kindergarten — both academically and socially.
The school is very bright and cheerful and also very clean. Many of the teachers have been there a long time. They seem to have low teacher turnover which is nice. Some of the teachers have taught all three of my kids. The teachers and staff are very kind and loving. I really feel like part of the preschool community at Little Angels. I have made some great friends while chatting with other moms at pickup/​dropoff.
One last (huge for me) plus is that your kids don’t have to be potty trained in order to attend. No stress about worrying if your kid is potty trained in time for the first day of school!
I would not hesitate to recommend Little Angels to another parent looking for a preschool!
