As bagel lovers, Chloe was shocked when she found out Stephen had never been to an Einstein Brothers. He tried to convince her to go to Panera, as it was closer, but he is so glad that she didn’t. He fell in love with a bagel that boasted cheddar cheese, bacon, and sliced jalapeño on an everything bagel. Chloe decided to venture away from her traditional favorites and tried a bagel sandwich and ended up being unimpressed. However, we both had one of the seasonal bagels to go(it was something like a french toast bagel with maybe maple cream cheese?, bacon, and pecans) and it was to die for. They also had a nice selection of coffee that was surprisingly good.

Not bad just wish they would do a better job cleaning the place. Had the red velvet bagel toasted a bit to sweet for me but I think some would like it. Please clean the bathrooms!

Finally a decent Einstein Brothers Bagels. A few Einstein Brothers Bagels have given me terrible food the last few times & really skimped on the portions. I came in here & was surprised that the inside was pretty nice. The last few I have visited were filthy & a complete mess but this one was clean & well kept. I ordered a Nova Lox sandwich, a jalapeño cheddar bagel & an everything bagel. The staff was very friendly while taking my order & were chatty which is always a plus. The service was also very fast. While I was waiting for my food I sat down at a table & within four minutes my food was ready. By the time I got home my food was still nice & warm. On my bagel I ordered jalapeño cream cheese & it was actually spicy & had a kick to it. My family enjoyed their Nova Lox sandwich & their bagels as well. Overall the location is very convenient & easy to park. Inside of the restaurant the tables were clean & the service was fast. Most importantly the food here was better than most of the Einstein Brothers Bagels I have been to. I would definitely come here again.

Worst breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life. The turkey sausage was microwaved and fake, the egg looked like it came out of some sort of space ship(also microwaved). I literally could not eat anything other than the bagel. They need to cook fresh food or just stick to bagels.

Noon on the weekend and they were out of about 70% of the varieties of bagels. How can you be out of your PRODUCT??? At least change your name from Einstein Bros. Bagels to just Einstein Bros.(More about changing the name later)… I ordered lox on a bagel(not a flavor of bagel I wanted), toasted, with cream cheese. As per the usual sub-standards of the Einstein chain, my bagel went through the toaster, but somehow came out soggy! With about 5 tablespoons of cream cheese oozing all over the place, my sandwich made a mess all over me. Only two tiny slivers of lox! I couldn’t even rip the stupid bagel apart with my teeth because it was so soggy from all of the cream cheese. I ate the two bites of salmon plain. For almost 8 dollars, this is ridiculous. I am beyond fed up with this chain. They should definitely drop the«stein» part of their name and just be called Ein Bros. Because they don’t know how to serve Jewish food. I guess I should thank my lucky stars that at least they didn’t put bacon on my bagel and lox.

Even though it’s a chain, somehow it has a nice neighborhood or small town feel to it. The bagels are fresh and delicious here. Recommended by a friend, I tried the potato bagel. Seemed so sinful… two carbs packed into one yummy creation! And yes… it was so good oh my. Try it, close your eyes, and enjoy!

I ran in here really quickly for a few bagels for my husband before my breakfast right next door. I don’t know why, but I was expecting… more… They had a lot of bagels available, but not a ton of variety. And it was really pricey – for 6 bagels and cream cheese, it was 9.45! What in the world?! The guy helping me seemed stressed… no smiles, no thanks, no manners at all, really. The one I ate was good(cinnamon sugar) but I am not sure I would go back again unless I was already in the area.

Like Einstein bagels. This is a busy shop on a busy street, limited street parking, and some outdoor tables. Delicious coffee and friendly service.

I always go there in the morning for the everything bagel and veggie cream cheese. Its the best. The employees are always smiling and cheerful. Its always busy in there and I never mind a wait. Because the extra yummy bagels. The manager there, she always remembers me and gets my bagel for me. I always leave full and happy. Thank you.

Look, it should not take 25 minutes to get a simple sesame bagel with cream cheese and lox. And when you wait for said bagel it should not arrive with barely any cream cheese or lox. And when you politely ask for more lox and cream cheese on your obviously skinny bagel, you should not be challenged that it’s your problem by the staff. When I went here it looked like a father /son team was working the weekend shift. The son(slowly) made me an incredibly skinny bagel and when I politely asked for more when I opened it, the older guy acted like I was showing attitude or something. I wasn’t, but I sure should’ve. I mean when you wait 25 minutes for a simple bagel with only 5 people in front of you and then the bagel barely deserves the name bagel, I deserve to be upset. I’ll look elsewhere from now on.

Nestled in downtown Barrington and I’m pleased it’s located so close to my house. Bummer none of the Einstein Bros are open past 4:00. I always use coupons because they send them via email so frequently. Bonus! They even send a coupon for a free breakfast sandwich on your birthday(with the purchase of a drink). One of the first few times I went here, a female employee(not sure if she was the manager) felt bad that I wanted a pizza bagel that they no longer advertise, so she gave me a card for a free sandwich. Not sure why they took that delicious pizza bagel off the menu, but it’s basically the cheese pizza bagel, but with garlic herb shmear instead of pizza sauce and they always substitute gladly if you simply ask. There is one girl who works behind the counter who never has a smile on her face and seems to have a bit of an attitude, but every other employee has been very friendly and helpful. Parking is scarce in the area, but there is a little lot across the street. Since this is more of a breakfast place, you can manage to get a spot in front of the store early in the morning, no problem. The sandwiches are pretty good, but never look like the photos. I guess that’s anywhere you go. Also, I would definitely recommend signing up for email coupons because I’m not sure I would pay full price for anything there, except the bagels with shmear. I usually get the lox & cream cheese or pizza bagel. The thin bagel mushroom, swiss & asparagus sandwich is ok. I love the dutch apple bagel with strawberry or mango shmear or the spinach florentine bagel with garlic herb shmear. So good! Of course, the shmears(cream cheese flavors) are really good and what they are known for. I recommend trying a gourmet bagel with a flavorful shmear if you’ve never been to Einstein Bros.
