IMS operates two centers located on 242 acres. The first is the Retreat Center. It is THE place to go for a silent meditation retreat. Their schedule offers weekend, week-long and even a 3 month retreat for people at all levels of meditation experience. The second is the Forest Refuge and is for those who have sat several retreats and are looking to deepen their practice. Retreats at the Forest Refuge are for a minimum of 7 nights and can last for months or years based on the individual’s schedule.
Founded in 1976 IMS has the reputation as one of the best retreat centers for meditation/mindfulness practice.
