Today we were waiting for the movie across the street so we decided to stop in and check this place out. There were daily special that look pretty good and I asked the waitress if the ribs or the brisket was better and she say the quality of the brisket was better so i order that plus 2 sides(onion rings and cheddar cheese biscuit) and my friend order the quesadella w/bbq meat. The food came and i didn’t really like my plate too much, it didn’t look too appealing and i knew if i took a bite i would regret it. Of course I was right, i hated the brisket alot. Yes it did fall apart but it didn’t feel like it been smoke, more like streaming LOL. The cheddar cheese biscuit was very dense and i didn’t like it at all. The onion was decent and eatable. My friend plate was alot better then mine. It had hugh chuck of bbq meat and it wa ok to eat. I don’t think i will be coming back here anytime soon. I can’t believe they would call this place a REAL bbq, it more like the left over. I was extremely disappointed and i would be super embarsse to have this restaurant.

Especially on a wet and rainy day here in Barre, working a long day, barbeque is sometimes the best cure to satisfy your appetite. We were running low on locations because it was hitting the closing time for many places, but we made a quick U-turn and parked ourselves in their seats with about 30 – 45 minutes before closing. This place was very welcoming because the servers were friendly, the environment wasn’t closed-off, and did I mention the service was friendly. We started off with buffalo wings served with their hottest sauce. I tried it, and it tingled a little. The wing was more tasty than hot, but I must say that if this is hot, then bring on more. I CANDOIT! My main entrée was barbeque chicken thighs and pork ribs. The serving was huge, and I immediately knew I would not be finishing this dish. Luckily for me, I brought tupperware to take back with me to San Jose.(Who brings tupperware when they travel? *raising hands with pride*) The bbq sauce was tasty, and the chicken was well-prepared. I ordered a side of macaroni and cheese(which was good, not great), and garlic bread, which I thought was pretty usual tasting. But hey, this place is known for their bbq. If you’re in the mood for 4 out of 5 star bbq, walk in with a smile, and walk out with a satisfied stomach and leftovers(maybe).
