Hidden gem. BEST winery we’ve come across in Michigan thus far. The wine AND the staff are a amazing.

Had a great experience. Wine was fantastic though pricey. Beautiful grounds and building. Very friendly host.

The best part about this winery is the building and grounds. Everything beyond that left me with a sour taste in my mouth about this winery. The woman who was giving us our tastings was down right curt with us from the moment we walked up to the bar. No description on what we were tasting, no interactions with us. She seemed so disinterested in being there me and my mates couldn’t wait to get out of there. At $ 10 for tastings I expected way more out of the wine. I’m not sure if it was the wine itself or the fact that she was mixing the wines by not rinsing out the glass between them all. I highly recommend skipping this one.

While the building and the grounds are beautiful, our tasting was very lack luster. We were greeted by a gentleman the moment we walked in and handed menus and told the basics of the tastings, however that’s where the welcoming feeling ended. Yes, the room was crowded, but our experience caused us to leave the winery unimpressed, a little turned off, and empty handed. We had purchased our tastings and after the first, our sommelier began to pour our next samples into the glass without rinsing it out, which is what had happened at every other winery we had been at previously(either that day or in the past). She actually used the expression«Wine is wine.» However, because we were tasting both reds and whites, sweet and dry, it DEFINITELY makes a difference. Near the end, everything tasted the same. The sommelier also seemed to be annoyed by us and I’m not sure as to what we could have done to tick her off. Yes we were a slightly larger group, but I don’t feel we were extremely demanding or needy — in fact most of us have worked in the service industry and are very conscientious of our behavior. We weren’t drunk, or loud, or rude. But the vibe we got was cold. Perhaps it would have been different on a non-busy day but I don’t foresee us going back any time soon.

Beautiful building and beautiful vineyard — great wines(especially reds), with a comfortable but still elegant feel. We stopped here because they had the latest closing time on a Sunday(6:00) in the area, and we are so glad we did! Compared to the other places that we went on the wine trail, it felt new and less touristy. Great, friendly, service. Serve yourself snacks from the refrigerator, and they have a wine club option! Will be back soon.

My second year touring the area’s wineries and I am so glad Dablon was open this year! It was our favorite stop for a few reasons: 1) variety of wines. They have the most options of any winery in the area, and they’re all delicious. 2) the building. Huge, beautiful, great patio. 3) the staff. So friendly, helpful & knowledgable. 4) the TOUR! We were lucky enough to have Chad to ourselves, and turned a 20 – 30 tour into an hour experience. He is a great winemaker and explained anything/everything we asked about. At our tasting afterwards, it was great to watch his reactions to our tasting experiences – he was beaming like a proud father. Absolutely great guy & tour guide. 5) the vibe. Everyone was so happy here, from patrons to employees – makes for a memorable experience. Must go!

Wonderful addition to the baroda/berrien springs wine tour area! This brand new winery opened this year and hit the ground running. The indoor tasting room is absolutely beautiful, with huge chandeliers, a fireplace with leather couches and big stone tables for hanging out with a glass of wine. We came for a tasting and the staff was so welcoming and friendly. They had enough people working so they could engage in conversation with us. The wines were so full of flavor and depth for such a new winery. We learned their grapes are from France, they are a French style winery. Most of the wines are estate grown. They are known for their dry reds but I loved their unoaked whites as well! They have small bites for sale to enjoy with your tasting such as meats and cheeses. They’re open til 6 which is an hour later than all the others so there is no excuse to skip this winery on your wine tour!

We went to this place the first weekend it opened and I was very impressed with the design of this place. It is very rustic modern/rustic chic and… it feels very warm. The wine tasting was great and we got 6 different wines to try. Their reds were better than their whites and my wife and I really liked the cabernet frac. Go here!
