The former Barnsdall Market has been reopened under new management as Affordable Foods. I was impressed with how clean the store was and the friendliness of it’s employees. Affordable Foods carry the Shurfine brand of groceries plus other name brand products. The fresh vegetable area and meat market have improved with the addition of Dough Boyz Pizza, where you can get a freshly made pizza of your choice of toppings. The prices are comparable to other grocery stores in the area plus they have a weekly sale on choice products. It’s apparent that the new owners have impressed the locals, since the parking lot is always full.
