This is a fantastic local gem, and you should try it. It is in an old schoolhouse that used to be the park crest school. The school only had 2 or 3 classrooms. The old classrooms are the two dining areas.
The décor is very elegant with high lofted ceilings, ornate wall coverings, and hardwood floors. The menu is very good with mostly platters; fish, chicken, veal. They also have fresh made soups of the day and a great kids menu.
The food is top notch, and they give you gigantic portions. Try the Veal Oscar, one of my favorites.

Chantilly is a first class venue. Beverly, the owner/​manager, is a gem. The restaurant has lovely décor and furnishings. They have a well stocked bar and capable bartender. All the wait staff are nice and helpful. The food was terrific. The meatballs are out of this world!!! The chicken was moist and delicious. The green beans are just like my North Carolina Grandma used to make. And the homemade peach pie dessert was terrific.
When we visited Chantilly it was for a wedding reception. The party took place in the large banquet room with big screened in patios on each side. The view was so pretty and the air flow was refreshing. They set up wine+beer service bar and had great music system.
