This is a great place with a huge variety of fresh vegetsble and fruits. Also a nice selection of baked goods and jarred items. I would have given it 5 stars but was not a fan of «DONOT» signs everywhere. DONOT take tomatoes or peaches from certain baskets. They make you walk all the way to the back of the store to find the loose baskets. Not easy if handicapped or old. Also«DONOT» peel any corn. I always peel back one ear to see what the corn looks like before I purchase a dozen. Then they had a sample area of fruits and dips. Big sign, ONLY1SAMPLEPERPERSON. I felt like I was back in grammer school.

This place is like a tourist attraction on it’s own with as many things as they jammed under one roof. So happy we stopped here. When pulling up we were thinking that we were going to just be treated to some fresh veggies and fruits but what we got was so much more. They have everything from the fruits and veggies to souvenirs to take home. I suggest that you stop here on your way in, especially if you have some time to kill beforehand. One great thing about this place is that if you are not sure about an item, look around a bit there is likely a sample for you to try. Heck if you do come here you may leave with a full belly. If it wasn’t for a sample I probably wouldn’t have come home with a blackberry cider. Be sure to check out back as well, lots of lawn ornaments, bird feeders and wind chimes(as well as other items). Also you may come along a pen that has a very friendly pig that doesn’t mind a scratch on the head. Bathrooms are also located in the back area. Local wines and beers are available for tasting and purchase. When I said that there was a little bit of everything there really is. Probably one of the coolest things here is that their ice cream is made in house and is tractor churned. You read that right. There is a tractor located outside the café area and it is operated when a fresh ice cream is being made. **$ 10 minimum to use a credit card of any type.

Peach cider float taste amazing! All veggies super fresh and we enjoy tasting different salsa, ciders and dressings. I always buy tomatoes and cucumbers here so as whatever else looks good. Restrooms very clean. Everyone’s nice and checkout is fast. Must stop on the way to OBX

Bottom Line: Beautiful displays, fresh produce, tasty snacks, sparkling clean restrooms and a friendly staff! I love Morris Farm Market. I hate that I’ve driven by it so many times without stopping. This market is amazing! Not only do they sell farm fresh produce, but they also sell many other items like salsas, nuts, baked goods, wines, jams, ciders, nut butters, beer and candy. The displays here are very well executed and will certainly entice you to fill a cart. I could have spent hours here sampling and buying. My inaugural visit was early October and I was glad to have plenty of space and time to shop as I imagine this market must be a madhouse during OBX peak season. The market is open April through November with the summer months obviously being super busy with OBX vacationers. It’s rare that I give five stars on Unilocal but Morris Farm Market has certainly earned it!

if you’re heading to OBX – this is the only place you should stop. avoid all other farmers markets on the same road – they don’t have fresh produce they actually keep the stickers on the strawberries shipped from mexico. whatever you do – don’t buy the tomato pies so there are more for us. but – if i’m not being selfish if you haven’t tried their tomato pies your missing out! the pickles are amazing – we buy a few jars to bring home with us. pet friendly so dog can shop too – great opportunity to stretch his legs! overall – a pleasant experience with a true taste of NC hospitality. Oh and the bathrooms are cleaner than my home!!!

We stopped here on our way to Nags Head to use the restroom, cleanest public bathroom I’ve been in. My husband used the porta potty just outside of the restroom instead of waiting; he said they were spotless. Lots of fresh local produce, baked goods & flavored cider. We got blackberry, so good. You can bring your dog in if you want. Their were 2 labor doodles waiting for treats at the bakery.

Love this place! This place is Huge and they have everything! I mean everything besides the kitchen sink, at least one that I could see. We stopped here on our way to OBX and found they overt fruits, veggies, nuts, snacks, beer, juice, cheese, I mean everything! Plus they have samples of just about everything so you can try before you buy! One thing to note is it can get busy so beware, but the place is so huge that it doesn’t really matter till you check out! Oh also if you are driving, this is a great bathroom spot! The bathrooms were clean and great and even had a changing table in each! A big plus when traveling with an infant! So cheers and get back on the road, the 2 hrs spent here will go by quickly!

Hands down the best tomatoes along with an incredible variety of fruits. NOTE: you won’t find a cleaner public restroom around. Be sure to have some spare change to tip the friendly Southern bathroom attendee Bravo– A MUSTSTOP!

I love this place! They have fresh fruits, vegetables, jellies, jams, dips, cakes, ciders, candies, goods, and much more! When we went on Saturday, they had an acoustic musician singing and playing his guitar. It was a wonderful experience. This place would be a great place to have an evening concert on the field!

I love farmer markets because you can find some beautiful crops and homemade items. This market is one of the better ones I’ve seen. It’s clean, spacious and organized very well for easy looking. The fruits and vegetables look very healthy and fresh! There were samples of homemade fruit ciders, nuts, salad dressings and dips to name a few. So needless to say, you can get your snacking on! Staff was friendly and helpful. Pricing seems to be fairly cheaper than grocery store prices. But it’s also safe to say if the grocery store has a sale on the same items at the market then it’s comparable.

We make about a 45 min car ride a few times a month during the summer just to come here. We love it! You can sample just about everything they offer. The Peach Salsa, Black Bean Salsa, and Blackberry Jam are out of this world! We patiently wait every Spring for them to open(usually mothers day weekend) and are very sad when the close in the fall after Halloween. The fruits are always fresh and delicious and we love the selection of pumpkins and gourds in the fall(I never knew there were that many different kinds). There is a wonderful bakery in the back and if you keep going there is an outdoor area where the sell a few knickknacks. You will always find Mr. Morris tending to the cleanest, spacious restrooms I have ever seen. I usually see Mrs. Morris and their family dog roaming around inside. There are tractors all around for great photo ops. One tractor even churns yummy ice cream. Always fun for the whole family!

The tomatoes had been refrigerated(destroys the flavor) and probably picked green and forced ripened and the sweet corn was past its prime(old). Always fun to stop here though. Large selection of candy reasonably priced for the beach vacation.

I’m generally wary of farmer’s markets because they’re usually overpriced and not that fresh. This place is a bit overpriced, but it’s such a neat experience that it’s worth it. I recommend that you grab lunch at Frog Island Seafood across the street, and then come here for dessert. There’s a huge assortment of samples but they were really good: –Nuts(you must try the caramel-covered pecans!) –Apple butter(I picked up a jar for myself because it was so good) –Other fruit jams –A weird selection of pickles(honestly, I don’t understand the jalapeño sweet pickles though others loved it) –Fresh fruit(peaches and melons when I was there) –Dried vegetables(including the novelty dried okra although it didn’t have much taste) –Desserts –5 types of ciders(apple, grape, blackberry, 2 types of grape, strawberry) –Sweet wines(a bit too sweet for me) –And more things I’m sure I’ve forgotten The peach ice cream here was hyped up to me, but honestly, it wasn’t that impressive. The peach bits were miniscule, and the ice cream wasn’t especially creamy. Also, if you come at the right time during the weekend, they’ll sometimes have a band playing outside, so you can kick back and relax in an Adirondack chair.

Very cool place to stop on the way onto the OBX. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies as well as fresh jams, salsas and other baked goods to fill your beach rental fridge. It is open air and very big. Much larger than other road side farmers markets I have visited. It is also pricy, so don’t go in thinking you will be paying farm-direct pricing. I imagine most of this is grown elsewhere. The prepared foods made this an interesting find. There was no shortage of great spreads and jellies. And lots of baked goods – pies and other treats. The fruit we bought was very good – fresh and full of flavor. They also had a milk-shake stand, sold t-shirts with their name and soda in glass bottles. It is quite an operation. It is worth a stop on the way in or out but know what you are getting into.

From now on every farmer’s market I visit will be judged against Morris Farm Market. I absolutely love this place. They have so much more than fresh fruits and veggies. Snack mixes, ciders, jams, wine, baked goods, and so much more. Plus there are free samples everywhere! The products are amazingly delicious and wonderfully priced. I really enjoy walking around the spacious area, petting the roaming dogs, and stepping out back to see the most adorable pig! When I visited on the weekend the place was packed out and there was music to accompany the busyness. The long lines moved quickly and I was happy to enjoy a peach float while I waited. Sure… you could just go to buy some fresh fruits and veggies but I think it is better to take along some friends to make it a full blown experience!

Great über farm stand. They seriously have Everything here! Not sure if they grow it all, but it is all fresh. In addition to fruits & veggies, They also have a variety of snacks, baked goods and homemade ice cream(you can see them making it!). Driving to OBX from NYC is a haul and this was a great pit stop! We stocked up on a ton of goodies, plus they have awesome restrooms(no porta-potties here!)

My best friend’s family always makes a pilgrimage to Morris’ on their trip to OBX. I was lucky enough to join them this year. This is a pretty big farmer’s market off the side of the road. Pretty hard to miss. They have a great selection of jams, preserves, wines, fruits, juices, vegetables, baked goods, and everything else under the sun. Lots of free samples to try, too. Check out the coconut-lime pound cake. We took home the peach jam and it was heavenly. There wasn’t enough to go around. Also took home a jar of apple butter and pumpkin butter for myself. Probably some of the best butters I’ve tried. Granted it’s filled with sugar, it’s good to know that this stuff isn’t loaded with artificial preservatives. Fresh from their family to yours! Bathrooms are super clean and very spacious if you’re in to that sort of thing. You know you are. They also sell tractor churned ice cream(chocolate, vanilla, peach, and strawberry). How killer is that??? Prices are a little steep but I really do think it’s worth it.

I love this place, but rarely buy anything because it’s so expensive. $ 4 for a bag of licorice?! I go here more to «window shop» and eat/drink samples, as well as take a driving break back home to Virginia. They have A LOT of samples, although they have lame signs that say something like«only one sample please.» But I don’t think anyone is watching… The place is HUGE! Besides fruit and veggies, they have impressive selections of bakery items, juices, candy, and dips. So many juices! They have an ice cream bar with ice cream churned from tractors, whatever that means. There are picnic tables in the front, along with several tractors that make for cute pcitures. Clean bathrooms! Go to the back, but don’t get confused by the arrows pointing to the potta-potties…there are real bathrooms right across from there.
