Great apple tart! They have their ingredients clearly listed with the baked goods and everything seems fresh. The cold sandwiches were not that great but they aren’t known for that so I forgive them. Go try the baked goods!

What an unexpected find this morning! I’d never had a blueberry tart before and was overwhelmed with how delicious it was. Nice flaky crust, perfectly sweet blueberry filling — not obnoxiously sweet like most pastries. I will be back for more!

Blueberry scone is excellent and the coffee mugs for $ 5 are the perfect size. The downside, however, is that they do not serve espresso. To be fair, they don’t advertise so I can’t really blame them

Loved all the pastries. Bakery that has not overly sweet stuff. What an idea. Recommend it

i went to this place a bunch of times over my 6 weeks here. I loved pretty much everything i got– including; croissant, dark/white cashew butter cookie(especially) blueberry tart, and blueberry scone. their iced coffee is prob the cheapest in town and also delicious. great little place, very peaceful.

Stopped in for lunch. We had an incredible blueberry scone, blackened haddock, a slice of pizzs and a blueberry soda. The haddock sandwich had the perfect blackening for amazing flavor without compromising the fresh fish. The bread and condiment ratio was perfect. The pizza was great… just wish we had a way to buy the whole pie and take some to go but we were going to be out all day. The breads looked amazing in the window and the smell of the bakery was more than inviting. The staff/owners were very friendly and gave us excellent service. The prices were excellent.

Stopped in several times on a recent trip to Bar Harbor. The chocolate croissants were really very good. Tried the cookies as well — found them tasty but a bit crumbly. But definitely worth the stop for the pastries!

Good biscotti, though more like a cookie than the crunchy texture we’re used to. Decent selection of baked goods and sandwiches. No espresso drinks, and a limited selection of coffee(only medium roast and decaf). But hey, it’s a bakery, not a coffee joint. We visited twice; for a cup of coffee and a treat, why not?

Blueberry scone was DELICIOUS. Coffee simple, organic, hot. EVERYTHING looked amazing. Staff was so unbelievably friendly. Will definitely go back after I hike off the scone!

This is a bakery that has a limited number of bakery items, basic coffee(no cappuccino), and a few types of bottled beverages. It has a number of tables and WiFi but no public bathroom. The person working there recommended the public restroom about a third of a mile away which we thought was inadequate for a place with seating and Wifi. The blueberry scone was average.

Went for breakfast. It’s a nice restaurant with adequate seating. Pastries were pretty good. But we paid about $ 25 for pastries and coffee and they don’t even have a restroom to wash your hands!

I needed a snack so I went in and asked for 2 raspberry croissants, when the cashier said $ 10 I was shocked, they’re not That good.

A nice little bakery. I only tried the blueberry pie. It was a bit different — an open top pie. Crust was nice but also a bit different. Almost like a dense strudel dough, with a nice layer of crunchy sugar on the generous rim. Blueberry filling was just sweet enough, not too thin and not to thick/gummy. Perfect consistency. Of the blueberry pies I’ve tried on Mt Desert, I’d be happy if I came across it again, but I wouldn’t go too far out of my way for it.

Very small selection. Not really a good place to go for a meal, more of a snack. Bought a peanut butter choc chip cookie and it was so dry and crumbly! It pretty much tasted like chocolate flour.

Only had cookies but what a great bakery. Everything looked amazing and oddly I liked how they organize the products. Nice service and coffee. No bathroom??? Seriously?

Absolutely adorable bakery in a great location. Unfortunately did not live up to expectations. Cookies were a good try, but VERY dry and crumbly. I’m a baker and I just felt effort was not given. Not a wide assortment of pastries. Average service.

I never want to eat a chocolate croissant that isn’t from here again. I almost bought six of them just so I wouldn’t run out for a while. Their cookies are to die for as well. I wish there were a place like this near me in Boston. But I would be twenty pounds heavier if there were, so maybe I don’t. Their sticky buns stuck to my heart(in a good way) and I won’t ever stop thinking about them when I’m back up in Acadia next year. This is a must visit for sure.

Outdoor dining and quick service. The paninis were remarkably tasty, although they run $ 7-$ 8 w/o a side. We shared a few and the broccoli was my favorite, but the chicken pesto was my mother’s. There’s also a good assortment of pastries. We wanted a light lunch and it fit the bill. Side note: no bathroom or glasses for water as it’s more a pick up and go/picnic table place.

Wow! What a lovely bakery, why has no one written a review? The breakfast items, croissants, fruit tarts, muffins, Danish were all beautiful and delicious. One day we also got some dessert items to take on a picnic and these also were fantastic. They had loaves of freshly baked crusty bread too. There were many picnic tables in their front yard for outdoor eating. I love to bake and have high expectations, little notch certainly makes the cut.
