I can’t disagree with a lot of the reviews. If you want a quick slice and a cold beer at a moderate price, stop here. The staff has always been pleasant but the food is severely lacking. The crust is very thin, lacks flavor, much like the rest of the pie. To me, I look at it, and it looks like a piece of frozen pizza. Honestly, maybe it is. I’ve only ever had one sandwich there. It was my first and last. I would guess that the lunch meat came from Shaw’s, and the toppings didn’t look very fresh. We have eaten here a dozen times simply because it’s quick. In and out. People. Listen. Bar Harbor is a pricy place with mediocre — bad food. There are a couple/few places worth eating at. Most places just aren’t worth it.

This was the only place open for breakfast on early Sunday morning. We had really no other choice. Pleasantly surprised by freshly made food. We had their special breakfast pizza which blew my mind! So yummy. We also got their blueberry pancakes, they huge and tasted really good. Fresh, homemade stuff! Highly recommend this place. Will come back for sure…

I want to give this five stars because it was the place my family always came for a casual after-hike sandwich or sub. And they brought back the old menu that I remember. However the food isn’t quite as fresh tasting and the staff slightly less friendly than the Epi’s I remember from the 1980’s. Still a quality experience and reliable decent sandwiches and pizza.

We had waffles, blue berry pancakes, egg mic muffin sandwich, and an omelet. The items are under $ 10 — there are more expensive restaurants in the area. If you’re looking for a $ 20 omelet, go elsewhere. This isn’t a scenic place and isn’t meant to be. The breakfast items were really good and the service was friendly. They have freshly made muffins and cinnamon rolls which were tasty. Also, do yourself a favor and get the pastrami hash– it’s fantastic. You won’t find freshly made orange juice– bottled ocean spray.

Came here for a brunch to start this beautiful day in Bar harbor on a sunny Sunday morning. Jump into this place accidentally, I brought my own unhappiness from this store. Location: downtown Bar Harbor, where pricy but low quality food is a must-eat scenario in this place. And this place is one of the and I would say, in fact, even worse. Food: NONE. Why? Let me introduce you my complains. Service: We were greeted fast and allowed to seat wheverer we want. Okay, sofa table for sure, which is close to the front door. While we were waiting someone could bring water or anything, nothing happened for 10 mins. During that 10 mins waiting, I saw many people showed their disgust face against the food they ordered. Well, pretty much shows that this place ‘s food sucks. The menu has bizarre breakfast choices. Pancake with no side. if you want side, ham for 1.99; sausage patty for 3.99; bacon for 1.99. Yeah, you pretty much feel like this place is charging you insanely! This is not it, yet. We patiently waited for another 10 mins, still no one came to our table even though two waiters right passed us 3 or 4 times. Oh, you know what’s unfair. People who are behind us get their food order before us. SUCHSUCHSUCHUNACCEPTABLE! Yeah, I left. And lemme tell you the way that you treat your customer is unacceptable. For elites, and random customer, please not come to this place.

Terrible crust, far too much oregano, toppings were too big and partially uncooked. It is unequivocally the worst pizzeria you could possibly stumble upon. I’ve had better pizza from a gas station.

Music was bad and so loud I asked them to change my order to carry out and waited outside. Got my pizza and it was not very good. bummer. overpriced for what I got. I also got spam taped to my pizza. This town is like a carnival trying to get every last cent out of you and not able to provide a product of value.

Had a breakfast pizza which was quiet good. The only downside is they seem very disorganized… particularly having some people get in line to order while others ordered at their table. In addition, it was a bit slow, but this is a vacation town and we were in no hurry.

Came here for breakfast because all of the other breakfast were way too crowded on a Sunday morning. You don’t really see many pizza joints serving breakfast, but this one had many of the classic dishes such as omelets, breakfast pizzas, pancakes, French toast… I just thought that everything was way too casual and premade. The fruit cup that I ordered was literally straight from a refrigerator that was prepackaged into a plastic cup with a lid. My friend’s breakfast pizza looked much more appetizing and filling than my two well done eggs. Overall, it was a good last resort for breakfast at a cheap price, but I’m sure that if you’re willing to wait at another breakfast place, that experience will be much better.

This was a great place, especially in over-priced Bar Harbor. The service was quick and attentive, the food was good and as promised. They have old school style booths and everything was very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

Meh! Food was ok. Calzone was good. The BLT was average. The so called«bowl» of Fish Chowder was a small cup at best and was $ 6.50!

Had lunch there last week. Like another reviewer pointed out, not many options at this time of year. I had the open-faced«home-roasted» turkey with gravy on top of a slice of «home-baked» bread. Dressing and cranberry sauce were served with it. It was OK but nothing to rave about. My wife had the 12 inch italian sandwich, It was just OK too. We have had much better. Took half of it in a «to-go» box. We both had cans of beer to wash it down, How can you screw that up? The worst thing was how cold it was in the restaurant. We were dressed for the outside weather but still felt cold. Is it possible that they had the heat turned off? Low prices, but«you get what you pay for».

Horrible experience. I was in Bar Harbor in mid of November, and since most places were already closed for the season, Epi’s was one of the very few options for a quick lunch. It was close to 2:55 pm and they close at 3, so I am thankful that they let us in. That was the only good part. My vegetarian friends ordered a veggie pizza since there wasnt any other option. I saw a very lame pepperoni slice on the counter which didn’t look appetizing at all. Disappointed I ordered what I thought is the most basic menu item for any italian place. Meatballs and spaghetti. After a wait of about 20 mins, in came my order. ‘Meatballs and Spaghetti!’ yelled the guy at counter. I was perplexed looking at it. There weren’t any meatballs in it. It can’t be a mistake, I thought. Do they crumble the meatballs in sauce? Are they hidden beneath the spaghetti? Without trying to embarass the guy I asked«Are you sure? There aren’t any meatballs in it.» No sorry, no smile, nothing. «Ok. Give me 5 mins.» I had to go back to my table and wait again. Then I saw him bring a Ziploc bag of frozen meatballs and throw them in the microwave. Needless to say they were absolutely horrible. To top everything he left the Ziploc bag at counter which remained there for next 30 mins or so. For those who might not know, that’s a recipe for food poisoning. I felt uneasy most of the afternoon, thinking I might have consumed contaminated food. Please STOP!

As an out of towner, this is always a stop for lunch. The pizza here isn’t that good in my opinion, «I’m from Jersey» but the sandwiches are amazing. The Cadillac is my go to with is sliced steak, peppers and onions, some mayo and cheese with mushrooms. Also they have a limited selection of beer too which washes down the grease quite nicely. Certainly not a place you should eat often, but once in a while it really hits the spot!

By the looks of the place, it probably wouldn’t be the«place» to go in Bar Harbor. My husband and I ordered two Italian subs to go and went to eat on the Bar Harbor green. We weren’t expecting much but we figured it was better than going to Subway. Oh-My-Sandwich it was amazing. Tasty and left us definitely wanting more. If it wasn’t so hot out and we didn’t have our dog, we would have walked back and got another sandwich. I would definitely give them a try, plus it’s priced low for what the rest of Bar Harbor is priced.

As for pizza, this place has a solid 2 stars. Costco serves a better slice of pepperoni but when it’s cold and rainy, you choose a restaurant with quick service. The slice of pizza I purchase was completely mediocre but it did the job of filling me up. Hopefully, they can prove otherwise on sunny days.

I first step foot into this place a VERY long time ago, and it’s still around… there’s a lot to be said in that. Their notorious for the variety of sandwiches and their pizza. Now being from Jersey, we know what pizza is supposed to be like… however when you get pizza from here, it’s delicious and a shock to the system. I would try it… you’d be a fool not to. My description wouldn’t do it justice. The Cadillac sandwich really puts it on the map… sliced steak, mushroom, peppers and onions a touch of mayo… and don’t forget the cheese… it’s delicious! They recently started serving alcohol, I went in one year and they had PBR on tap; now they have it in cans including tallboys. So go in, break the routine of seafood and try what they’re offering!
