It’s kind of hard to find, in a sea of big-box retailers outside a mall, but it had the friendliest and most helpful staff I’ve ever had at a Hampster Inn. Breakfast was what you expect here. Room was clean, and the hotel appears to have been updated. It was a bit more than I would have expected in Bangor, but after our lousy room in Bar Harbor (not a Hampster) the night before, it was very comfortable.

This place is acceptable and easily forgettable. The room was clean but small. The wifi is decent. There’s a free hot breakfast and fresh cookies occasionally available at the front desk. The rate was reasonable and the staff is very friendly. We would stay here again.

This place seems brand new. The parking lot didnt seem like it was offering too many spots, but there was a few feet of snow on the ground so no one could be faulted there. Anyway, they have alot to offer for breakfast, but I’m on a diet and just grabbed a bananna and some coffee. They have hot offerings that I tried while starving, but the eggs more than likely were in a powder form at one point. I’d actually like to see a nutrional count on some of the stuff they offer, the numbers can’t

This hotel has had a complete make over!
Large breakfast area, new beds, new rooms, and they have guest appreciation night on some nights… I was pleasantly surprised to see a free BBQ going on out side for the guests the night I was there. It was a fun event! Also the staff was friendly and super helpful giving suggestions for things to do around town. It is also right next to the 99 restaurant so if you are tired of driving, finding dinner is easy haha.

I wasn’t really impressed with the Bangor Hampton Inn. It is an older Hampton and not in top notch shape.
The staff was friendly and helpful. There are plenty of chain restaurants nearby if you’re in to that sort of thing.
