Back in Balance Wellness Center

So happy with Dr Rob! He has done wonders for me and honestly I couldn’t live a normal life without him (and the occasional visit with Dr Dan)! Everyone at Back in Balance goes over and above what’s needed to make you know that the entire staff wants nothing but the best for you!

I started going to Back In Balance for acupuncture after meeting them at a health fair at the University of Maine. I had experienced it on vacation for knee pain with great results and wanted to continue with that. I have enjoyed that immensely and have continued to benefit from it. When I injured my back the end of January, My acupuncturist Ashley got me in to see Dr Dan right after my appt with her because I could barely get up off the table and she knew i also needed an adjustment. He gave up his lunch time to fit me in because my injury was so severe and he could see how much pain I was in. It took 6 days for the excruciating pain to become manageable when it should have taken longer than that, because he taught me how to increase the benefits of the adjustments with heat compresses and stretching exercises which i did faithfully. I am seen for massage prior to my adjustments which causes the adjustment to last longer and continue to receive accupuncture. I’m well on my way to recovery thanks to their incredibly compassionate team. I am amazed at and happy with my progress.
