The staff is super nice and totally knowledgeable. More expensive than nearby stores but its always the most pleasant shopping experience, especially after a Whole Foods run.

I have been to Wine Works many times over the past year, but I have only now gotten around to writing a review. I am a beer drinker who occasionally buys wine and I normally go to Wine Works specifically because I am looking to buy Berger made by Full Tilt Brewing. They almost always have the beer, which is great for me. This earns the location one star. They earn a second star for keeping their shop clean and well kept. The other three stars are missing because their customer service is terrible. I have never once been greeted upon entry. I have also not been offered assistance or a greeting while shopping even though I can readily see other customers being greeted. Upon my most recent visit I was not greeted while the man who entered a minute or two after me was greeted. I will take my business elsewhere.

I think they are called wine works now. They are tiny — but adorable and generally have everything I want. They have some great choices at a middle price point, so they are perfect when you need a complement to your whole foods dinner.

Almost could not find this place in Unilocal — I know them as Wine Works, from the e-mail they send me, but way down in small print on the email it reads«Mt Washington Wine Company». At least once a month they have a wine tasting — usually Friday or Saturday evening. This is a great opportunity to try some great wines, meet some great people, and learn more about wine(and sometimes beer). Jump on their email so that you can learn more about the wine tastings!

This is an excellent little wine shop. Perfect place to grab a bottle when you shop at the the Whole Foods next door. Mark was very friendly and knowledgable. I noticed they had a nice selection of whiskeys and some interesting craft beers too.

Carries one of the brands of fruit liqueurs I love, «Clear Creek», that my local liquor store, Wine Source doesn’t and they more reliably carry Crispin cider as well as some other of my household’s favorites. Their wine selection, I’m told, is good. Their beer selection is small but good, their liquor selection is top shelf with some small manufacturers/supplies represented alongside mainstream top-shelf brands. Also it is near the Mt. Washington Whole Foods, which we occasionally visit, and also near a satellite location of Charm City Cupcakes. They also have two charming shop dogs that are sometimes there. George is as sweet a mini dachshund as you could hope to meet, though I’ve not yet met the other. Their store is filled top to bottom with wines, beers and liquors. They carry Vosges chocolates as well as other high end snack foods. They also carry some high-falutin’ specialized drinking vessels. Their staff is always friendly, polite and helpful. I always enjoy visiting.

Small, but nice, vast selection and a knowledgeable staff. I especially liked that the store also sold beautiful olive dishes, cheese plates, and knives among other things. If you are hosting an evening with friends and want to make a good impression, Mt. Washington Wine Company is quality one-stop shopping(they even had little chocolates and other sweets at the counter).
