The beer! The food! Oh I loved every bit of my time here. We had a great Charm City Unilocal event here which was incredibly organized and the crowd, tour and staff were great. Watch out for some of their brews-they sneak up on you quick! The sampling of their dishes were heavenly and I loved the sundried tomato and goat cheese dip. Well worth the trip!

«Wawazzat, Jessica?» *hiccup* The instant Jessica F informed me I was absentmindedly power guzzling from both her beer glass as well as my own beer glass,(double fisting is my innate talent), I knew I was well on my way to total tipsy-tude. Some tasty craft brews & an intimate brewery tour, mixed with mega-nice munchies, and heavily seasoned with a liberal intermingling of Unilocaliness within the classic setting of the Brewer’s Art made the Brewer’s Art Tour & Unlimited Samplings of Brew UYE a fun filled, energetic, action packed event. I wantonly and with wild abandon gladly donated many a spare brain cell analytically savoring and tasting,(i.e., chug-a-lugging), all 6 craft brews offered.(For the sake of research, naturally.) As always, it was a thrill seeing the beautiful people I’d partied with before, the beautiful people I’d admired via reviews only and finally met that day, and the beautiful people who were new to me. Maximum thanks to Sista Noralyn T for helming this wonderful affair. And thanks to the Brewer’s Art for allowing a candid look into their business and their brewing process. And for reaffirming to me the joys of duct tape. And especially for the beers!(For the sake of research, naturally.) Baltimore’s UYE’s continue to get more exciting,(while keeping Kit more akeehol infused), every time. Ahh, yes. Unilocalie Pandemonium at peak performance. Oy. What’s the fun gonna be like when Unilocal Baltimore gets a CM!!! *shudders*

Honestly, I don’t remember too much of the tour(shout out to Ozzy beer), but I will remember the good time that I had mingling with some of Unilocal’s finest. Seems like these UYEs for Baltimore continue to get better and better. Brewer’s Art has been around for 15 years in Baltimore, but this was my first time ever stepping foot into this historic facility. Tom and the rest of his B.A. staff did an excellent job with our crowd of beer-drinking enthusiasts. I learned a good bit on how beer is brewed within the Brewer’s Art dungeon. I can easily see why this place is very popular amongst locals and tourists. If I ever come back to Brewer’s Art, there’s two beers that I would probably get each time: Ozzy(my favorite) and Resurrection. Out of the six house-brewed beers on the list, I was only able to drink the first five. Someone let me know how the Proletary beer was, for those who completed the Iron Beer-Guzzling Challenge. The food that was served was delightful as well, especially when you’ve already had about 5 drinks. The rosemary garlic fries were on point! Before I go, shout out to Jamie for the Unilocal gear. The Unilocalstick(chapstick) went quickly; I’m pretty sure that was the female favorite of the night. Another shout out to Noralyn, actually two of them. First shout out is for the excellent job organizing the event(you’re on a roll). Another shout out for the beer that spilled on the ground. Don’t worry, the beer wasn’t that good to start with, so you actually did me a favor by knocking it out of my hand. Another UYE in the books, and it was a very enjoyable one. Baltimore movin’ on up!

Since I had some pics; and since I thought this was such an enjoyable and memorable UYE; annnnnd since an update of my Brewer’s Art review would be more about this event than the place itself… I figured I’d add a Unilocal listing. It’s just how Unilocalers do. A huge«thank you» to Noralyn T. for arranging this great event, and to the whole crew at Brewer’s Art for so patiently hosting a crowd of thirsty and hungry Unilocalers.(Also to JAMIE S. for providing the cool Unilocal swag!) A private sampling of BA’s amazing beers and a behind-the-scenes look at where the magic happens — all before the joint opened for business — was a fantastic way to pass a Saturday afternoon. BA happily poured generous glasses of all their current craft brews and kept the delicious small bites coming from their very able kitchen: crab dip, risotto balls, crab cake bites, smoked fish(?) flatbread, chili dogs on pretzel rolls, and — best of all — those famous rosemary garlic fries. Everything they were cracked up to be, and more. It was so much fun meeting and mingling with the Baltimore-area Unilocalers. Balmer sure knows how to party. Great beer, tasty food, and fabulous company = a most excellent UYE.
