I have been getting my eyebrows threaded since middle school, I would not go here. My eyebrows are uneven, the women were extremely rude.

I really hate leaving negative reviews and I really wanted to like this salon, but they need to do better with their waxing services. I bought a Living Social deal for a brazilian wax relying on other positive reviews for this salon. Scheduling was easy and when I arrived early on a Wednesday afternoon, I was seen without any issue(though I was literally the only person in the whole salon). The waxing seemed to go alright, but my skin remained red and irritated the whole day afterwards(didn’t help that it was still sticky — not all the wax was fully removed). By the next day, I had 20 – 30 painful whiteheads in the area — the hair follicles were clearly infected. I’m not sure if it was the wax or whatever powder was put on after. Then, a few days later when my skin was finally looking better, rough stubble started growing in, so many of the hairs had not even been pulled out, but broken off at the skin. Although the appointment booking and actual waxing seemed to go OK, I simply cannot give a positive review based on the results.

I got a groupon for cut and highlights and had to pay $$$ at another salon the following day to have the cut fixed as much as possible and a color correction. I have long hair and asked for light layers around my face. The stylist cut half my hair at ONE layer the length of my chin. She highlighted only my roots to a horrible copper color, didn’t tone them, and didn’t bother to put any highlights in the back. The stylist who fixed my hair the following day could not believe what had been done to my hair or how this woman ever got a license. What a waste of time, money, and 5 inches of my hair!

I went here with a groupon for a cut and color and was treated as such. I was definitely made to feel like I was inconveniencing the hairstylist and when I asked if I could do lowlights instead of highlights I was told it would cost more. The haircut was the worst in my life. I asked for a trim and in some parts 4 inches was taken off. While she was cutting I questioned what she was doing and she would reassure me that it was fine. My hair feels ruined until it grows back out, I am definitely not coming back

This ranks among my favorite places to get threaded. The service here is good. You usually never have to wait longer than 5 mins to get threaded, if at all. As long as you’re clear about how you want your eyebrows done they are great at seeing your vision and respecting your brow beauty. Perks of this place are price and loyalty cards. You can pay w credit card and even tip on your card. Parking is extremely easy because it’s in a large strip mall. It’s conveniently located in the city. There’s even coffee, tea, and water while you wait – but I’ve never even been able to try it because I’ve never end up waiting that long. My only qualms about this place are about the actual thread – they used to use a thinner thread which would result in the thread breaking more. Slightly more painful. I think they’ve recently changed their thread because it doesn’t feel as painful. They’re also not open during hours for working women. And they’re not open on Sunday. Having said that, I’ve been to the Towson location, the flagship salon so to speak, and I find the fed hill location is actually better(that is unless you’re able to have Usha herself do your brows there – bc she is fabulous). Compared to Neha’s in Canton, the only other comparable place in the city THIS place is still my top choice.

Went in for a wax, came out with a smile. Who’d a thunk it? Hilary is to thank for that. I had a Living Social deal that I wanted to use, and regardless of the discount, Hilary treated me like a top paying customer and even an old friend! She was quick, exacting and friendly. I was very happy with the results. I have, and will continue to recommend Usha to anyone looking for minimally painful waxing services.

Both Baltimore and Towson locations are great. I like to keep my eyebrows thick. They listen and don’t remove too much hair.

Love Usha for the eyebrow threading. Quick, less painful, and doesn’t require an appointment.

I’m new to the area and this salon had a Groupon so I thought I’d try it. What a mistake! Worst haircut I have ever gotten, it looks like it’s been hacked. The woman didn’t show me the back and no wonder! It’s even worse. No style, no shape. Just hacking straight across. I certainly did not save money using Groupon because I need to go someplace else to see if they can salvage this embarrassment.

Not honest when it comes to pricing as theyll change up the price on you with no legitimate justification. I did full face threading and I was charged extra because they said i had«hair in certain areas»(i thought thats what«full face» was for?) ive been there 3 – 4 times now and I’ve come in with less outgrowth but was still charged more. Price is random & not set in stone. Expect to pay more/at random rates(for the same growth pattern) when you go for no reason. Job is good but not going again.

Baltimore really needs to step up their game and get more places that do eye brow threading. That being said, I was very pleased with how the gal did my eyebrows. I am very particular and she did just what I asked. If I’m ever in town again and need my brows done, I’ll for sure make it a point to come here.

Been looking for a threading place since moving and have been extremely satisfied with this place! I go every month. Find a woman you like and make sure they don’t use the cheap thread on your face– that will make it hurt a lot more!

One of my coworkers visits the Towson location for brow threading. I wanted to try it, but didn’t want to drive all the way to Towson so I found this location which is much closer. I walked in without an appointment and was promptly seen by a lady named Pinel who did a wonderful job, hardly any pain, no breakouts and only $ 12.00! I’ll never go back to waxing again, I’ve officially converted to threading, will be back again. Great place, ample parking and very reasonable prices.

I got a living social for a threading and a facial. I didnt realize that I had been here a couple of years ago for the same deal and the previous Asian facialist was awesome. When i called later to schedule another facial with her, I found out she was gone =( This time both my services were ok. Hillary gave me a good facial and good advice on my skin but the facial was not really relaxing because she was so assertive in her advice. Also, she gives foot massages which is wierd considering she just worked on my face. The facial was not relaxing and too brief. As for the threading, I think I prefer waxing instead. I hate having to hold my skin and stuff and they cant get the newly grown hair. The thread broke twice. So my review is mixed. Out of all the facialists I’ve gone to, I think Hillary is the only one to tell me the truth… to give me great practical advice(good tips and actual recommendations of natural affordable products that can be found in any drugstore instead of the salon’s products) and I have put them in practice but she could make the actual facial process more relaxing instead of so rushed and critical.

Stopped in for my first threading and was impressed. 4 stars bc website says they have nail service and this location does not. Threading was quick, not painless but not unbearable, and $ 12! Will definitely be back. Thanks to Unilocal for helping me find it.

Always leave here with my brows looking great! I prefer this location to the Towson location simply because the wait isn’t usually as long and the parking lot is better. I’ve had a few of the different girls here do my brows, and while I prefer one over the other simply because i think she is more thorough, I’ve never had a bad experience. I will try to get her name next time! I’ve been getting my eyebrows threaded(as opposed to waxing) for five years now and I’ll never go back. Threading is more precise. You’re not going to get a big wrong path of hair taken out. It’s a fix as you go thing and you can generally feel if it’s going awry. It’s also less pain. It’s pricier than in New York or DC, especially when you come about once a month, but Usha is the only option I know of in Baltimore, and they get the job done.

It’s a nice place in the shopping center but I would not come back here since it’s not a Queens NY price of eyebrow threading. There are things in NYC that are good deals. I don’t understand why the Baltimore area pricing is much higher than NYC’s. It is due to less competition means higher price. Now that I’m in Baltimore, I’ll just do waxing at $ 8; it’s as good as threading.

The one thing i miss most about living in NYC are all of the ridiculously cheap eyebrow threading salons. The fact that you have to spend $ 12 anywhere here in Baltimore really irks me so when Usha had a Living Social deal for half off I jumped at the chance. It was as good as any salon I’ve been to: clean, inviting, and my brows looked great at the end. My only complaint was that the thread kept breaking which I’ve never experienced before. It didn’t make the process more painful, just made it take longer which wasn’t really a big deal. All in all they got the job done so I would definitely go back if they run the deal again.
