Stopped at the Museum in conjunction with a tour they were hosting of other locations in the area — I really need to get there for the walking tour. The love of the history of the area is evident from every tour guide and the pride of what has been accomplished at this location(check out the pictures of what the museum site USED to look like!) is justifiable. A worthwhile way to learn about a vanishing memory of Baltimore.

I went during the Irish Railroad Workers walking tour(which I recommend, btw). For two small rowhouses they’ve put a whole lot of history inside. Or maybe that’s just the great tour guide? Either way, It was very interesting, and they let you take your time looking around at all the historic items. Oh, and check out the bricks in front of the Museum; a few of them are commemorative, and you can see Martin O’Malley’s brick from when he was Mayor…
