Pleasant place with some neat seating across the hall. Bartender was busy but fine. Guy bringing drink to extra comfy seating across the way was pleasant. Maybe a little understaffed but what airport bar/restaurant isn’t. The Bloody Mary was good and they have a nice selection of beer.

First time we ever ate here was 6÷18÷16. Awesome service by Kayla! Fast, accurate and very friendly! Great meal, large serving, and when we go back we will surely ask to be in Kayla’s section!

Service is terrible. Nice people but no training or idea on good service. They come out to the general area of your table and ask who got this! In an airport where people have a limited amount of time, use a table number or something. Very slow, luckily we had time. Not many choices in C pier so they will take it in, but if you’re smart and use Unilocal, see this and go elsewhere.

Stop by on a layover… the place was clean and the service was great!!! The menu has standard pub fare. The Burger was above average and the Fish and Chips weren’t bad either. However, the Chicken Curry was terrible. No real flavor or texture, the potatoes and the chicken were indistinguishable. The Naan was hard as a rock by the time it cooled down.

This ain’t a bad place to land before you board your flight. They have a restaurant on one side and a comfortable sitting lounge on the other with oversized chairs, sofas, coffee tables and the like. You still get the full service, but the break from sitting on those less than comfy airport chairs. In my quest for the best bacon cheeseburger in the world, this one gets an honorable mention. The burger is nice sized, cooked well with a good flavor, as is the bacon, and it is served with some onion rings on top. Not a bad touch. The service can be a little slow, but that is because one person services the entire lounge space. They are very nice and helpful. This also saves you from the madhouse of the food court on the other side of the airport.

Had a great breakfast. Sat at the bar service solid. Nice surprise. Only place to grab a cocktail in terminal C.

The crab cakes are spectacular. Even the Old Bay remoulade worked out in thier favor(surprise). Moist and light, but substantial enough to get me through to a bigger dinner much later on. Watch the coffe qhen you get down to the last couple of swigs, though. You might end up with a mouth full of gritty coffee grounds. Hubby had the Philly Cheese Steak. He has zero complaints and was pleasantly surprised at how he enjoyed it.

Very crowded so I sat at the bar. Eggs Benedict was fantastic and the mimosa was average. Quick and attentive service.

No matter how many times I keep telling myself that airport food has changed, its not all that bad, I’m always walking away shaking my head saying that i should know better. Service was meh, food was mech, the drink was expensive. Keep on walking on to the bagel place further down the C concourse. I know I will…

There was not a lot of people in the restaurant and it was seat yourself. I knew that I wanted fish n chips since it is a British Pub… Great service. I was greeted and my order was promptly took… I opted for a Pepsi since I dont care to drink early in the day…

Unexpected surprise in the middle of BWI, next to terminal C in the Southwest and American Airlines section. Mechanical problems leading to a 3hr delay… this watering hole has a lot to offer way would travelers in the way of liquid relaxation! Clean and bright with a good selection of local/Maryland draft from Flying Dog and Heavy Seas. Then add in national favorites, Sam’s Adams, Yuengling, Shocktop, and of course Water(Bud Light). They have a unique lounge right across from the bar. A comfortable place to relax while the flight delay time clock ticks away.

I arrived a couple of hours early for my flight so I decided to have breakfast across from my gate. The staff is friendly and the food is superb. The Tazo Passion tea is a change from why I’m used to but definitely woke me up!

Wanted to try something new at BWI. When we walked in you knew it was going to be slow. We sat at a table that wasn’t wiped down. When the waitress came to the table she never wiped it down so I grabbed the rag and wiped it down. We ordered right away. It only took 10 minutes for the food to arrive. Which was fine. The waitress never gave us refills and never checked on us. The place was not busy. Everyone had to chase down the waitress to get the food or check. We finished breakfast 10 minutes ago and she hasn’t stopped by. I’m timing how long it will take for her to drop off the check. Wish I could snap a piture to show you how busy it is. I forgot to mention the food was cold. Otherwise, she’s very pleasant and has a great smile.

Airport bars are really rated on one thing: the competency and courtesy of the servers. In this case, firkin and flyer have it in spades when you’re sitting in the bar. Great recommendations on beer, drinks and appetizers, and a nice low key environment, that’s not too classy and not too divey, just relaxing for all kinds of people. Definitely my top choice before flying out of BWI.

We stumbled onto this place. We are so glad we did. We had a long layover in BWI. We saw the bar had outlets at every seat! Genius! Why doesn’t everyone do this? We ordered a few drinks and food. My husband got the crab cake sandwich and I got the Cobb Salad. The portions were huge and the food was fresh. Both enjoyed our meal. The bartender was so friendly and nice. We were sitting on the short side of the bar and asked if he could change the TV for us and he did without question even though the Maryland football team was on. Two beer, a double Gray Goose cranberry, the salad and sandwich was $ 63 pre tip. I think that is good for an airport. Plus the electricity plugs were very much appreciated. I did find it odd they charge you for the vodka and then a small fee for the cranberry. I have never seen that before. $ 12 for the vodka then 50 cents for the cranberry, odd. While we were at the bar we noticed a room across the way. We also noticed the wait staff going back and forth. It is a little Restoration Hardware catalog lounge. After our meal we went over there and had a few more drinks. Not as much power over there but it is a cool vibe to hang while you wait for your flight. A few TVs more comfortable seats. Everyone was so friendly and nice. Next time we are in BWI this will be the first place we come.

Tough to rate this place. It has two locations across from one another in the mouth of the C concourse– so if you’re flying out of B this is totally an option. One side is regular seating and bar, the other is laid back couches and chairs. I sat at the latter and was able to watch football and climb online to do some work. So 5 stars for atmosphere. The service was prompt & courteous but the serving sizes were tiny and the flavor was nothing to write home about. Now I wouldn’t have minded the higher price point except for the size so I came down right at 3 stars — but if you’re not super hungry and just want a chill spot to grab a beer– then this might be a 5 for you!

This is a new restaurant in Terminal C at BWI(opened September 2015). Hubby and I had an early morning flight and needed to get a meal in so that we didn’t starve on the plane. We were greeted immediately and seated at a great table overlooking the tarmac. All the servers were friendly. They had a great selection of Bloody Mary’s & Mimosas, etc. I was very tempted, but decided I needed to detox from the weekend. So, water was my drink of choice. haha Menu has lots of traditional English items. I’m not a fan of traditional English breakfast, so I ordered the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict. Totally unhealthy, but it hit the spot. Seems like it’d be a good spot to grab some drinks, but didn’t get to try it out.

A nice addition to Terminal C at BWI. Probably more of a 3.5, but not enough to push it to a 4. They opened on 9÷2÷15 and I was there the next day. I was very impressed by their operation after only being open for a day. Normally you would witness mass confusion, but they ran a very smooth operation while in was there. A nice selection of craft beers on draft. I didn’t see much of a bottle selection and they were pretty short on their booze selection too. I overheard the bartenders talking about product being delivered. I’m sure this will improve once they get their operation up and running over the next couple of weeks. I had the grilled cheese with a Parmesan crusted thick bread… of course I added bacon… why wouldn’t I? It was very good. The burgers I saw were thick and looked very good. The peeps to my left devoured them so that’s always a good sign. I always love seeing new restaurants pop up in airports since I basically live in them. He Firkin Flyer is a winner and will only improve as they have a few more weeks to work out the launch kinks…
