Falafel burger, chips and dip, and a green tea strawberry lemonade ‘Arnold Palmer’ variation were all fantastic! Regardless of how you eat, this was an amazing dish to feast on. The owner who made the food that day was extremely friendly, I’d go back just to talk to her, much less the delicious burger!

Best black bean burger or veggie burger in Baltimore. Soups are all incredible. Yet to find something I haven’t been delighted with.

I really hesitate to give this place such a bad review but I am still stunned how bad I thought it was after reading such glowing reviews from others. I had the Moroccan soup and it was so awful that I wondered if it was made from one of those dehydrated soup mixes. There was nothing Moroccan about it and I found it very salty and unfulfilling. Not only that, but I think I paid over $ 10 or a bowl of soup! Just oddly overpriced as another reviewer noted. The hibiscus tea was nice and the server was fantastic but overall I am sad that a vegan food spot failed me.

First, let me digress from the food for a bit, there was a young man in the 7th grade who took our order. He was so professional, attentive, and mature. Listen, I work with kids on a daily basis; let’s just say I wish some of them could see him in action and take notes. Heck, I wish some grown customer service staff I’ve encountered a time or two could take notes. I find this part of my experience awesome. Anyway, the food was absolutely amazing. The crab cake sandwich was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the sauce on it wasn’t overwhelming; it had a nice light flavor. The crab cake came on a brioche bun, which tastes great together. It definitely wasn’t your typical crab cake. I couldn’t stop taking bites of the sandwich. It was like I was addicted or something. The chips were just plain chips with a dusting of seasoning. The side salad with black beans was quite tasty; I think I’ll start mimicking a similar salad at home. Please visit them. They won’t disappoint.

Gosh the soup was good and so was the cornbread. But 2 quarts of soup and 2 pieces of cornbread is $ 40.00?!? It wasn’t THAT good…

Tasty soup located in an open air market atmosphere. I had the northern bean soup it was full of flavor and did not dissapoint. Small drawback was that I thought the pricing could have been a little better, but I would go back.

Absolutely amazing, wowowow I love this place. I don’t think I’ve ever had soup this good, I mean that! I love that most of their soups are vegetarian or vegan, and that they’re all healthy, hearty, and delicious! I would certainly recommend checking this place out.

Amazing food and customer service. I’m the perfect amount of full and am rolling around on the floor of mount Vernon marketplace. We got the falafel and salmon burgers. both come on brioche buns and are stacked high with fresh toppings. A lil golden bbq sauce goes in the inside of the bun. We were given free cherry hibiscus tea and strawberry lemonade($ 5 value each) because they were out of chips. So good.

Super good vegan local food in the heart of Baltimore. The split pea soup was absolutely amazing. I never knew I would like vegan food, but this place has made me a believer.

This is a great little spot in the recently opened Mount Vernon Marketplace at 520 Park. The food is wholesome, flavorful, and unmistakably homemade. The soups are especially notable: I’ve tried the lentil gumbo, the 15 bean, the split pea and kale, and the crab, and they were all delicious. The lavender and lemongrass iced tea is also amazing. From what I can tell, the owner has handcrafted each recipe on the menu and has poured her soul into her flavors. And the food is pretty nutritious, too, which always a bonus.

With your hearty, healthy yet surprisingly super-tasty soups and inhalable, flavorful wraps, I must confess you«bean» so much to me(and to my innards, I must say). You’ve not only revolutionized the longest-cultivated plant in the history of the world, but you’ve made beans cool. As in «cool beans.» Not only would Jack himself be jealous of the stalks your beans produced but he would merely toss his so-called«magic beans» in the waste basket for a mere glimpse of yours… Because they are indeed magical… Now that we’re talking about fairy tales, a freshly minted tale called«Jen and the Bean ‘Stalk’» goes something like this… Once upon a time, a young girl named Jen, who ate nothing but beans, was hungry for lunch. She set out on her journey to find the best beans in all the land. She grew so weary of eating tasteless Lima beans and plastic-like soybeans that she finally decided to venture into a new, mysterious market. There she found a stand that sold not just straight, raw beans like she’s used to eating but bean-infused soups, wraps, and even bread pudding! She couldn’t believe her eyes(or her rumbling stomach). She ordered the two-fer lunch special — the lentil soup and falafel wrap. It was Fee-Fi-Fo-«Yum»! Her restaurant«stalking» days were finally over because she found the perfect location for her beloved beans. She then lived happily ever after. The End.

Delicious food with great quality. Got a jerk chicken wrap and a small lentil gumbo soup. The wrap is very juicy and tasty, might be a little spicy for some people. :P Soup is delicious! Will definitely come back!

We don’t even speak of beets in my house. Hubby loathes them. But he was convinced to take a bite of the beet hummus. Y’all get a five star just for that. Of course I was blessed with the hummus in the end. It was really good. Also had a delightful strawberry lemonade with all kinds of extra live in it(cucumber slice, big mint leaves etc). And got the Kale Salad. It was moist with plenty of garlic to light you up. If you are wondering where to stop while in town this has my vote. Enjoy!

Its the Big Bean! Clean WHOLESOME, tasty food, and lots of love poured into this joint. Worth its weight in gold. Salmon burgers are off the hook. Homemade cherry hibiscus tea will make you wanna cry. DELISH
