The Apartments at Cambridge Court

The general area is very nice and you are very close to some great shopping, including a Target, Giants, The Avenue, The Mall and etc… However the apartment was one that was left to be undesirable. We had multiple issues with the leasing office, because they have multiple people doing too many things. Just day 1 we had to sign a new lease, because the lease was wrong. We were given one key and not two when two people were on the lease. They only ever called one person on the lease vs calling two whenever there was an issue.
We also at times received multiple calls about my dog not being on the original lease, then a pet fee not paid, all sorts of stuff. So I recommend keeping every receipt and notating which person you have spoke too. Someone in another review does mention the quality of tenants (that’s the review for some reason isn’t allowed to be included in their rating) which is true, our building turned into a revolving doors with moving trucks almost every weekend. As well as a healthy line up of evictions on a weekly basis.
If you do move to these apartments I can say maintenance is very nice and do a good job. But check in with your neighbors if you see flyers and notices because sometimes everyone gets them and then sometimes only half the building will get them.
The dog park is just an enclosed grass area. The car wash station does not work. The garden plots never got used and they pick and choose which policies they would like to follow.
For the money and the value its not really worth it and especially after dealing with the office staff. Who never seem to know which way is up. Last example, we provided a letter to the office to let them know our move out date and that we would return any keys that we received when we moved it. Well clearly it was too hard from them to decipher the letter as we had to go down personally and read it with them so it was clear. Didn’t realize a basic letter would be so difficult.
I would never recommend these apartments or a Home Properties apartment ever!

I have been living here for almost 2 years and I really like the area. I love that the leasing office hosts holiday events because my children really enjoy them. Also, I like the fact that they have a community garden, car wash area, a dog park, gym, pool, park areas for children and a media room where you can browse the internet, send faxes, and make copies if you need it. The responsiveness leaves something to be desired at times but overall the service is good. The surrounding area is very nice as well because you are minutes away from the hospital, gas, food, clothing, and entertainment. Plus, I can see the AMC Theatre sign from my balcony so that’s a pretty decent view… Right?!
