They remodeled last month, and now it has all the charm of a Trailways bus terminal. Why? They cut the floor space in half, and took away the big leather chairs. They installed what looks like a dime store lunch counter, only more cramped. Clearly, they no longer want their customers to stay or return. The Safeway Starbucks has more atmosphere.

I am a huge Starbucks fan. I recently relocated to Baltimore for a short work assignment. I had just been in a remote mountain town that required a 2 hr drive to get Starbucks, so needless to say I had built up quite a bit of anticipation. The service was slow, the small store was crowded and I had to wait some time for my simple, no frills drink. I got it and it didn’t taste great, but it was Starbucks and I just drank it. Since then I have come back several times because this location is near me and convenient when I’m out and about. Each time I’ve been here it has been a bad experience. They either don’t get the drink quite right or get it totally wrong and the staff are rude and slow. The only good thing I can say about this location is they have recently remodeled it and it is roomier and bright and shiny. The other plus is being across from the harbour in Canton. I won’t be coming back here. I’d rather go a bit farther, get what I order and deal with pleasant people.

The baristas are really nice and helpful! it seems like a nice environment to just sit down and chat. We stayed a bit after hours outside and still were able to use the wifi which was really nice :) its a good place to hang out.

Seriously, always great coffee. I would rather drink gas station coffee than Dunkin’ Donuts’ in an obscene styrofoam cup! Strong wifi, strong coffee and a comfy chair.

For some reason, the line in this Starbucks goes so slow, and then it takes a while for your drink to come out as well. I’ve seen well-oiled Starbucks where your drink would be out right after you’ve ordered despite having a long line. The baristas weren’t friendly either, I would think that if you didn’t have the efficiency, you would at least be friendly. Also, one time they ran out of Pumpkin Spice Latte despite having all the advertisements up :( And another time, the barista was calling for the caramel brulee sauce since he ran out for my drink… and no one every brought it, so he squired some regular flavor syrup, which I assume was just their regular(nasty tasting) caramel syrup. I think from now on I will turn around and either head to the Safeway, Target, or Harris Teeter options.

I am a regular at this Starbucks even though I live on the other side of the city! My experience is ALWAYs great up until I sit down with my IPad! The service is great, the space is large and the seating is comfortable… however…the internet connection is AWFUL! It took me 30 min just to post this because it’s so slow or would just drop the connection and not load! If you need to work online then this is the last place you should come until something is fixed! I don’t normally post reviews but I’m so annoyed right now as with many past experiences that I figured it needed to be said!

Starbucks don’t get much better than this! The Starbucks here is huge, has high ceilings, is impeccably clean, is ridiculously bright due to huge windows, and has incredibly pleasant staff. I’ve never had an issue here, and I sincerely enjoy studying/working here.

I am a regular at Starbucks and looked forward to my morning coffee when living in Fed Hill but once I moved to Canton, I decided to take my business to a different location. The few times I have stopped in to the Canton location I’ve had very unpleasant experiences. More than once, they have gotten my order wrong and were extremely rude when I asked for it to be corrected.

I am and have been a very loyal Starbucks customer for a long time and this was the worst Starbucks experience I have ever had. Even after double checking and confirming my drink, the barista made it incorrectly(iced not hot) and refused to apologize, proceeded to make 5 other drinks before she corrected the error, and snapped at me. Luckily, the manager was wonderful and offered to buy me a new drink and said she would speak with the rude staff member.

Every Starbucks is a great coffeehouse. It still amazes me how the Starbucks phenomena took off. Anyhow, this particular one has friendly staff and all your favorite coffee beverages and snacks. You can also connect on to their complimentary Wi-Fi for internet access of your smartphones and laptops. The only downside to this location is very limited and cramped seating and the front area is very drafty.

A little more congested than other Starbucks in city but they have quick and efficient service so I’m never waiting too long. This is my favorite Starbucks to go to on the weekends because I like to hit up THB as well(it’s so close). Bagels and a Starbucks drink are the perfect way to start your day.

This Starbucks can be busy but the the atmosphere is always light and fresh. I enjoy the comfy chairs in the back for some serious study time or the entertaining staff/costumer interactions if I’m just wasting time :)

My friends and I stopped in on our way from Fells Point to take me to BWI a mere few hours after our evening of marathon drinking ended. To say we were in rough shape was a total understatment. I needed coffee and I needed it immediately. So, Starbucks it was. First of all, the place was hoppin’ for Sunday morning at 11 a.m. The area around the register to order your drink was completely unorganized and the girl working the register reminded me of the lunch lady in third grade«NEXT!» If I’m paying $ 5 for a cup of coffee, at least sell it to me than make me think I’m sliding along a tray of sloppy joes. «Oh? One of those?» asked the girl working the register when I showed her the mobile Starbucks app I had to pay. Hello? It’s 2013. The drinks took a little longer than normal to make, but I will let it slide since my retinas were burning from the light of the day and my head was ready to explode from trying to comprehend the one-sided conversation of the girl on her cell phone standing next to me. «Amtrak is a monopoly and they should be sued!» Jesus, what inner realm of hell did I enter all for a cup of coffee? So once I finally got my coffee, I found out it was made incorrectly, but at that point, I didn’t care. I also collect coffee cups from the Starbucks«You Are Here» collection and I was bummed when this location didn’t have any from Baltimore. If you’re looking for coffee with a show, this is it. Next time, I’ll remember to get coffee at BWI.

If you order a dirty chai the wrong way, the blonde girl will ream you out. She went on for a minute or two about how annoying I was ordering a ‘dirty chai’ because she didn’t know whether I wanted one shot of espresso or two. I feel like she could have just asked me that nicely instead of yelling at me. At the end of her tirade, she informed me that she wasn’t being rude and that it was just a pet peeve of hers. Yes, lady, I figured that out, and ending a rant at a customer with«I’m not being rude» doesn’t make you not rude. I’ve worked retail before and I know there are certain things that customers say that get annoying sometimes, but that’s not an excuse to blow up on someone. It’s not my fault I don’t know her pet peeves, and I usually go to local coffee shops so maybe I’m not ordering my drink the«starbucks way». Anyways, besides that anecdote, this is a good Starbucks. They deal with a lot of people very quickly and everyone else is really nice. Being yelled at in a coffee shop kind of put me off to this location, but that’s just my experience, it might be different for you. Just don’t you dare order a dirty chai.

Good and fast… wish they would turn the music down though. This isn’t a good place to get work done you feel like you are in a rock and roll concert it’s so loud!

This bucks is extremely busy during rush hours. The parking lot in the mornings are ok, but the later you go in the afternoon the busier the rest of the plaza is and your parking may vanish. They have started to enforce the hour parking rules posted so heed them! The employees here are great. They are as fast as they can be with the line. There is usually both registers going, and 1 or 2 people making drinks.

This is pretty much what you’d expect from a Starbucks, in Canton, that has a parking lot… ridiculously busy, and filled with Cantonites(which is either a good or bad thing depending on your outlook), all the time. If you must have Starbucks — then I suppose this one is fine. There are no other coffee shops within immediate walking distance of The Can Company so they kind of have an advantage with that. Employees are generally pretty good, considering they usually deal with a line 10 – 20 people deep in the morning. It’s a pretty cool space(swooped, angled ceiling) and it has some outdoor seating, which is perfect if you’re getting a drink from here and food from somewhere else(Gypsy Queen food truck parks outside this location on Sundays). Just don’t expect to find a seat… it may require several minutes of circling around, vulture-style, waiting for the next patron to leave…

Not bad… This is a decent Starbucks. I like that they offer both indoor and outdoor seating and it seems relatively new and clean. The staff is friendly and nice and the service is quick(at least the few times I’ve been there, it has been so).

I like this Starbucks. Not only was I able to sneak Sophie in, but the place actually has some interesting interior and exterior spaces. The architectural aspect that really caught my eye were the flying roof and the corrugated-metal siding. Industrial and contemporary while using the design to negate the busy road. Yeah… I could stay here a while just for the ambiance. I do like to drink my coffee, too, and I rather enjoyed my black-eye as I sat in one of the comfy chairs.
