We ordered from here through amazon prime now. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak breakfast sandwich abd a co-worker ordered the bacon cheeseburger. The Philly cheesesteak breakfast sandwich did not have cheese on it at all. This is a major component of a cheesesteak and not having cheese was a big letdown. My co-worker also had no cheese on the bacon cheese burger. We were both very disappointed. This was my first experience with Sip & Bite and will be my last. When your meal item is a cheesesteak or cheeseburger and there is no cheese that’s something I can’t understand. I am not sure why this happened but I find it unacceptable and will not be taking that chance again. I was so hoping this might be a good go to place but I guess not.

I really want to give this diner 2.5 stars but feel like the customer service was decent enough to warrant a full 3. We had high hopes for this diner because everything on the menu sounded delicious on paper. It all pretty much went downhill after we had to ask for our drinks at least 3 times before it was brought out. We were pretty hungry so my bf and I each started with a soup. He got chili and it was piping hot! Meanwhile, my chicken orzo was definitely lukewarm. Next came our entrees. He got a ham and cheese omelet with a side of potatoes and toast. I got the Apollo platter which includes 2 baby lamb chops, a skewer of grilled chicken, spanakopita, side salad and pita bread. Like I said, we were hungry! The bf said his omelet was mediocre and his toast never came out. My platter was super disappointing. The spanakopita looked a bit old and reheated on the griddle to the point where parts of it were burnt. The baby lamb chops were dry and oily as did the grilled chicken so I barely touched it. I mainly ate the salad and pita bread. I mentioned this to our waitress and she was nice enough to take it off but probably won’t come back since it left a bad taste in my mouth. Literally.

The service has always been great here. I have been a couple times to sit at the bar and order a quick breakfast sandwich and coffee. I love this place because they have a vegetarian sausage that goes great with their egg sandwiches! This is a great place for a quick, light, delicious breakfast!

Cute little diner atmosphere. Fast service and good food make it for an A-OK experience. I was really pleased with my lox plate – ample ingredients and the bagel was really light and not doughey so your jaw isn’t getting a workout trying to chew. Same with the home fries. At first glance, i thought it would be way too much food, but the home fries were so light and fluffy and buttery. Great hangover food but the best part is you don’t walk out of there feeling fat AF.

Very surprised I’ve not yet written a review of this Bawlmer classic. But I dare not question the reliability of Unilocal, and it must have been an oversight on my part! The Sip & Bite is a thing of local folklore, holding the place in the hearts of countless inebriated folk in need of some rib-stickin’ grub after a night drinking in Fells, Canton, and roundabout. The menu is chock full of classics, such as meatloaf and open faced sandwiches, and also offers breakfast all the time. Our most recent visit was after we caught a movie in the ‘burbs, and the popcorn just wasn’t enough to satisfy m’lady. So instead of heading to Filippo’s in Highlandtown for a slice o’ pizza, I decided we should hit S&B. Would have loved to stepped back in time and gone to the olde Nice and Easy(renamed with all due love and appreciation the«Nice and Sleazy» by myself and friends in the college and early post-college years), but alas it is no more! We split the Boston Street Special breakfast and added an order of rye toast. Everything we had was decent, with nothing standing out as particularly good or bad. Pancakes okay. Scrapple decent tasting, but could have been cooked a tad longer. Our extra side of bacon, pretty good. Eggs cooked properly, but the toast a bit uneven. Service was solid, and the prices okay– just because it’s an old school greasy spoon, don’t expect cheap prices. It sits upon prime Boston Street real estate, after all! Bottom line is that the Sip & Bite is pretty much a decent option for a decent, no frills sort of meal. The earlier the better on weekends, lest you care to contend with(or are) the drink-besotted!

Came here for brunch and totally fell in love. Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives chose this spot for a reason and trust me it’s so good. We found it on a Unilocal search(thanks fellow Unilocalers) and it was on point from friendly staff, to delicious meals, especially for Brunch with the Crab Cakes– So So Good! GOTRYIT!

Ok – IM a native of the area and have been going for over 35 plus years to S/B. I have been out of town for about 12 months and in the last 60 days went back 3 times on a Sunday – well after the breakfast rush. What I found was heartbreaking and dis-appointment, in mostly the service. The«lady’s» who served the food are no longer there – they were hard working mom’s making a living. What I found was a bunch of un-organized people going around in circle – 5 people and 3 tables and I had to wait 10 mins for silver and a menu and it went down hill. My friend who was paying had his credit card out on the table when the plates were clear 7−10minutes later – we had to ask for the check for our waiter who was taking a phone order a clearing a table. Even after we asked him for the check it took him another 7 – 10 mins to ring up the check and tally and work the credit card machine. This is a DINER service is 110% of the game… I know the prior owner had some issues and there seems to be very poor staff on the 3 times I went… but they need to crack the whip… food was just ok

We visit sip and bite a couple times a month when we want a breakfast with big portion sizes and great service. I’ve never had bad service here. The servers do a great job juggling customers and getting your order out fast and correct. Especially love that they give you a huge cup for chocolate milk. Is everything fresh on the menu? No — impossible with the quantity of items — but the stuff that is fresh is very good, especially their Greek food. The spanakopita with tzatiki sauce is so good. Only downside is you end up smelling like the place when you walk out, but it’s expected for such a small place.

Visiting from Dallas. Saw this restaurant on an episode of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Really enjoyed. Nice diner in residential neighborhood. Great friendly service. The lump meat crab cake was amazing and the soft scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked to order. I’ll definitely return.

Two thumbs up! I went here with my wife and goddaughter and we al had a blast and enjoyed ourselves. Ironically, we went down during the Baltimore Marathon which the running route was just in front of the building so that was nice. The place reminds me of an old school diner. I ordered the french toast with eggs and bacon(so did my little munchkin) and my wife ordered the chicken a waffle. The french toast was good. I would not recommend the full meal for a 7 — 10 year old unless they can eat that pants off. It was a pretty hearty meal. I was enough for one adult to get full or at least feel good. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her chicken and waffles. I tried the chicken and it was on point. I recommend stopping by this place if you are in town and craving some good breakfast!

Checked out the restaurant with a friend. My friend ordered a meze sampler while I had the platter with lamb and chicken. We also ordered the honey feta fries as well as a side of corn pudding. The food was good. I didn’t think anything particularly special. The chicken and the lamb was nicely seasoned and the pita bread was nice and soft. The honey feta fries were interesting. Never had a combo of honey and feta on fries. My friend didn’t particularly think the mezze platter was good but she didn’t think it was bad either. So all in all, the food was pretty good. However, the amount of time that my friend and I had to wait for our food to arrive was a little ridiculous.

Came in on a Saturday for a late breakfast. The place looked rather busy, but we were able to get seated within about five minutes. Menu is typical Greek style owned dinner – cheap breakfast foods and delicious Mediterranean flair! I got the lamb gyro — it could have been made a little better(seemed like all the tatziki sauce ended up at the bottom). Friend got the eggs Benedict and it was great! Overall good is good, and service is quick. Definitely come once! It is a small space, so keep this in mind if you’re trying to come during peak hours.

After another brunch place nearby had a long wait, I ventured here. The restaurant is fairly small, with several booths and seating at a long container. On a Sunday morning it was pretty busy, but we were luckily able to snag one of the last booths available. Service was friendly and our waitress recommended some items. I decided on The Eastern Shore, which came on your choice of bread(biscuit, English muffin, or Kaiser roll). I was set on ordering it on a biscuit, but after the waitress mentioned that the size of the bread dictated the size of the crab cake, I went with the Kaiser roll as she recommended. Who wouldn’t want more crab cake for the same price?! Hello! I really enjoyed The Eastern Shore. The crab cake was packed with lots of lump crab meat and barely any filler. The fried egg and bacon were great additions to the sandwich. The home fries that accompanied the sandwich were good… crispy. I also shared a short stack of french toast, which I thought was just okay. Your standard french toast. I enjoyed watching the cook make my meal in front of me due to their open cooking area. I’ll be back when I’m in the area. Good food for a great price.
