Save-a-Lot is a pretty bare bones grocery store, but they have decent meat and produce. They have the basics at reasonable prices, but lack variety(for example only a few spices are available in the spice section and they mostly have processed food). I wouldn’t shop here for everything, but its fine for running out to grab a couple key ingredients for your pantry when you run out.

Save-A-Lot has good prices on processed foods like chips, french fries, packaged cakes, soda, etc. Every now and then they have nice sales on meat and veggies. I get 10 pound bags of frozen chicken quarters for 70cents per pound. I also once got 50 pounds– 5 – 10 pounds of pork riblets for $ 1.20 a pound. In general it’s to come here when they have specials or when you’re throwing a house party or barbecue.
