OOh la la. The spa pedicure is worth every penny. I left with smooth shins .feet, and pretty manicured toes. The leg and foot massage was delightful. I had my nails filled and they looked spectacular.. I will return here for courteous attentive service I received

I went in here based on reviews during my lunch break hoping to get a matte gel manicure. I told them I had just about 45 minutes so I could back to work and they were sooo accommodating. The lady doing my nails even gave me some tips and tricks for keeping gel on longer that nobody had ever told me before! My manicure still looks fantastic over a week later, even if it was done in just 30 minutes. There were a flood of people walking in behind me so I will make an appointment next time (to be safe) but definitely so excited to find a great nail place close to work.

I paid 38 $ for a fill in gel manicure and 7 $ tip to have my nails a few days later chip and then I need a refill soon!?! Wtf is all im saying, I don’t like wasting money and I usually go to nail salon an hour away in silver spring because things like this don’t happen and I pay only 35 for fill in including tip… I am very disappointed in bad judgment due to the good reviews so this will be my last time ever here!!! I do not like lazy technicians… it’s your job to uphold a certain standard in your work but clearly not…

I had heard good things about this salon, so decided to try it out. I brought my sister here for a birthday pedicure. They have 8 pedicure stations, which is the most I’ve ever seen in one salon. I recommend making an appointment since it can tend to be busy, especially on the weekend. Our appointment was at noon, and when we arrived, they took us right back. We opted for the spa pedicure which was nice, but my legs were really red and itchy afterwards. The lady that did my pedicure was great and did a very good job. Not that we were glued to the TV, but it started out with some weird kid’s show, then soccer… which took a lot of the man who was doing my sisters pedicure’s attention. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would recommend this place.

Update: It’s only day 6 and the polish has started chipping!!! Isn’t a gel manicure supposed to last for at least two weeks??? Really disappointed. Don’t think I will come back here next time.

I came in for a gel manicure, left with that, a pedicure, and an eyebrow wax. All in all, I was very happy that all my immediate beauty needs could be taken care of in one place! It’s always a relief when a business takes care of a customer’s needs thoroughly and professionally.
I love my gel manicure (and my black cat add on to my ring finger for Halloween, which was awesome for them to accommodate among the various other added on services close to their closing for the evening). My pedicure looks good as well!
My nail tech was very detailed and precise. But she did not want to engage with me whatsoever! It was a really quiet couple hours in the entire salon, almost to the point of awkwardness! At least when I was getting my pedicure music was playing, but I find that light conversation and the atmosphere definitely contribute to my overall experience while receiving spa/​salon services.

This is by far the best nail salon I’ve found in Baltimore. They really do an excellent, precise job here. Especially the lady in glasses (whose name I can’t remember, who may be the owner). She is amazingly meticulous, even when the place is crowded. You never have to feel rushed here. I’ve gotten gel manicures here that last for weeks and weeks. This is exactly what a nail salon should be like, and Hampden really needed one. I always leave here feeling satisfied. I’d be surprised if there were a more professional, careful salon in Baltimore.
Only advice to management: fix the awful laminate on the floor!

Finally! A place in the city limits in the north that is decent. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and it’s clean.

I don’t get my nails done that often, but when I do I’m very big on price and the service offered. QQ did not disappoint. Newly opened about five months ago, the shop sits right on the avenue near the corner of hickory and 36^th.
The shop is clean, they have a wide variety of colors, and the prices are reasonable. My mani was $ 15 and my pedi was $ 25. Both were completed with precision and sterile instruments. I highly recommend anyone visiting and will definitely be back soon.

I’m just so glad I don’t have to go to that place by Giant anymore. These folks are kind and they do an amazing job… always above my expectations.

Hampden was in desperate need of a nail salon, and then this place opened about 5 months ago in or around February 2015. I went and checked it out and liked how much space there was inside, so there was no wait for a mani/​pedi on a Sunday afternoon. The place is minimalist in decoration and presentation, which I don’t mind. It does not smell like fumes, which is important to me, because I don’t think they do much acrylic. It was clean and sterile, also important. They could have used more gel color selections.
Highlight: The woman really took her time on my feet and hands, more than I have experienced at any other place. It’s been over a week and the color is lasting well because she was so precise. I really appreciate that.

Hooray for a clean, professional nail salon in the neighborhood.
I have gone here twice now for regular manicures and plan to go back and get a pedicure also.
They have two large polish racks one gel and one regular. Brands include OPI and Essie.
Usually I don’t have to wait but if it’s busy sit down and enjoy a water or soda from their small fridge in front.
They have modern chairs and manicure stations and a very organized hand washing station.
I typically pay up front to avoid messing up my nails by digging into my purse.
You can rest assured that the tools have been sterilized as they open a freshly sealed pack each time.
Karen has done my nails both times and is efficient, meticulous, and personable.
So glad they are on the avenue and I hope they stay busy!

I was a walk in and was helped right away. The staff was friendly and the girl who did my pedicure was very nice and thorough. I enjoy having a nail place in the Hampden neighborhood that I can walk to.
I’ve been to many nail places and this is by far one of my favorites. I enjoy the set up and the atmosphere. Will be coming back again soon and I’ll bring my friends and family here too.

To echo the others… yes! Finally a nail salon in Hampden on the avenue. We’ve been needing this.
QQ is very clean and sanitary, which is of the utmost importance to me and should be to you, too! I came in pretty early on a Saturday morning (around 10:30) and was the only one, but it soon started filling up. If you’re planning to stop by on a weekend, an appointment would be a great idea.
They have a HUGE color selection of OPI and Essie polishes. I was extremely annoying and took forever and ever to choose. Finally, my technician told me to pick two and she’d sample them both on me, which I loved! She did a nice job with my nails, but there was little-​to-​no massage involved, and that’s my favorite part.
After a few minutes drying my nails, I (of course) carelessly messed them up and my nail tech cheerfully cleaned them up, and with humor. The owner (the only guy on the premises, it seems), offered me bottled water and opened the door for me when I left.
Like most salons, they prefer cash tips, however, they do allow you to tip on the card which really saves you that mortifying moment of not being able to tip at all should you have zero cash on you.
I’ll definitely be back… good experience!

I opted for a gel manicure and spa pedicure. They did my gel first and while I was up front getting that I heard a customer in the back gushing about the foot massage (I think her name is Su (e)?) one of the staff gave. I was stoked to get back there and get her for my pedicure. I was not disappointed! What a fabulous massage!
Sounds like you might want to make reservations on the weekends-​overheard last night (a Friday) they were packed. 9:30 am on a Saturday I got in just fine. You can tip on a card which is nice but the salon does prefer cash tips. There’s an M&T bank right across the street which makes that pretty easy.

Very happy I found this place. Hampden needed a nail salon like this. Sue did a great job.
The whole staff is pleasant, very clean shop with a comfortable atmosphere.
And their hours are fantastic, basically open ²⁴⁄₇:):):) which is usually my biggest issue with nail shops.

Can I just say «Wow» over and over or would that not be helpful?
Truly amazing, unbelievable hours and the best foot, ankle and leg massage of all times! My wife and I are definitely going to become regulars.
Very very clean and overly accommodating. We both were impressed.

I was their first customer a week ago & love the cleanliness, new shiny colors, great selection of NEW OPI & ESSE and very spacious salon!
