Do not ever schedule this guy for an event to bring his truck. He booked an event, confirmed by email, then double books and refuses to come to the event. Terrible business guy and not a man of his word.

Great pizza. Really the best pizza I had in a long time. A little pricey 2 slices were 14 dollars but it was worth every penny. They gave a discount because we were state employees. Hope you come back to the MDTA real soon.

Pizza di Joey is one of my FAVORITE food trucks in Baltimore. Not only is Joey a pretty awesome human being(employing veterans) but the pizza is delicious. Where else in Baltimore can you get a piece of pizza the size of your head? No where. Joey has been bringing his pizza truck to our events for months and is a pleasure to work with at every single event. I also love how personable he is with patrons. You can’t stop by the truck without leaving with the feeling that you’ve known Joey forever.

Pizza this expensive should be twice as big and twice as good. Told my coworkers today that I got $ 10 worth of pizza, but it was more like I got $ 4 worth and threw $ 6 away. Also inexcusable is the fact that Pizza di Joey, LLC ran out of pepperoni pizza. Also inexcusable is the fact that Pizza di Joey’s pasta salad is made with inedible products – that’s right, one of the olives had a pit in it. Quality controls, where are the quality controls? Even more inexcusable and an indicator of poor customer service was that Pizza di Joey, LLC would not make substitutions in meals with items of EXACTLY the same price. When pressured, the operator would only respond with«that’s not how we operate». Your Buffalo chicken pizza costs exactly the same as your pepperoni pizza… If you do it for me, then you’ll have to do it for everyone, remember? What’s the harm? It costs the same amount, and it would have made me a fan of your flexibility. ANDYOURANOUTOFPEPPERONIPIZZAATTHISPOINT. But really, Pizza di Joey? You charge a premium for your product. You run out of pepperoni pizza. The least you could do would be to put up a sign that said you were out of pepperoni pizza. And, if you do run out of pepperoni pizza(which many people are going to order), you could say that you’ll substitute(or upgrade for a nominal charge) to a more premium slice of pizza. You are going to lose money with these types of business practices. I was already on the fence about the extreme gap in quantity to expense, but now that I see you aren’t even willing to work with customers, you will not be getting any more of my business. And you will get a bad rep. This review reads critically – near angrily. But really, Pizza di Joey, LLC, you should learn from these mistakes. You should find a way to make sure you don’t run out of «premium», «monster» slices(which go for less in Times Square itself). And you should find a way to make sure that the bad press that you’ll get for such lapses of customer service have a limiting effect on your business and bottom line. At the end of the day, I leave with a bad taste in my mouth(figuratively, the pizza was fine), a nearly chipped tooth(from the olive pit) and much less money in my wallet than rightfully should have left. Change your business practices, and change them now if you want your customers to be happy. Unless, of course Pizza di Joey, LLC is a failing business looking for a reason to shut its doors. Then by all means, don’t change a thing.

Pizza di Joey is official!!! I attended the the Baltimore Social event on McHenry Row and Pizza di Joey’s food truck, with a full size brick oven, was serving those in attendance. My fiancé and I both had MONSTER pepperoni slices! It was a delicious find! The quality of the pizza was phenomenal. I was blown away that such an awesome pizza was made on a truck! The only negative I have is that they aren’t in NJ. I had the opportunity to speak with Joey and was happy to hear that he offered discounts for veterans, first responders, and teachers. As a veteran, I appreciated his generosity towards the military veterans and local community. I will definitely go back to his truck when we come back to visit!

Okay so while I have been pretty loyal to «For the Love of Food» at the CMS farmers market, they weren’t here today but this pizza truck was! Pizza is the love of my life, so obvs I was already planning on lunch when I saw them parked in the courtyard at 8:30am. First of all, this truck is HUGE with a real, old-fashioned brick oven pizza inside. Amazing! Second of all, the guy at the counter is incredibly friendly and SUPER good looking. Those baby blues… SWOON. I’m going to alert the society for Federally Employed Women ASAP. There were about 5 options for pizza: cheese, pepperoni, white(with fluffy globs of ricotta… so tempting), Sicilian deep dish, and«The Works,» which had lots of veggies and pepperoni. I ordered the works, and I was not sorry. The veggies were crisp and fresh, the crust was charred on the bottom and buttery at the top, the sauce was slightly spicy, and the amount of cheese was perfection. Some people might balk at the prices for the slices(rap game on point today), but each individual slice is LITERALLY the size of two large slices anywhere else. This is a real New York-style jumbo slice and I’m most definitely gonna be back for some delicious pizza from the good looking guy behind the counter! Worth noting: if you are a public servant(police, fire, EMT, military, federal employee, etc.) you get a discount!

Pizza is okay, but it really is too expensive. One slice isn’t quite enough to satisfy, but two slices would cost $ 14…

My workplace in Scaggsville arranged to have some food trucks come by once a week, so we’ve been getting to try some interesting food. Pizza di Joey has some great thin crust pizza! I had a slice of The Works for nine bucks, which consisted of pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and garlic. The ingredients worked really well with that crispy crunchy crust. They also offered White pizza, Pepperoni, and Cheese aside from The Works. The truck offers free Wi-Fi if you’re hanging around(but you have to ask for the password,) and they also have a TV mounted on the side which is impossible to see on a bright day. Joey also offers discounts to veterans, civil servants and students. Would I drive out of my way for this pizza? I don’t know. But I’ll remember it was good.

First things first… I drove from Philadelphia, PA just for this pizza ok? Real. Deal. Pizza. You want authenticity? You want to experience delicious food made with love from quality ingredients? If so good because you want pizza from this AWESOME food truck. The owner is a guy who’s work ethic is unparalleled. His dedication to the culinary art of making NY Style pizza is evident in each bite. Listen, there is a brick oven in the truck!!! Come on now, #mindblown. There is this quality crunch in that crust accompanied buy a wonderfully robust sauce and perfectly melted blend of cheeses that will win your heart over. I know this guy, I know this truck, and I love this pizza. Try it and believe me, you will too. It’s a cool experience with a very humble and welcome staff. Exceeded all of my expectations. It’s almost time for me to make another drive for a pie to bring back home and impress guests.

Had Pizza DiJoey at Brew at the Zoo, this past weekend. There was quite the line, but oh my, was it worth it! I took ONE bite and turned to my husband and said«oh god, this is my new favorite pizza»! I haven’t had New York style this good in YEARS! I really wish you were a brick and mortar store! We’d be regular customers, for sure! Until then, I’ll be stalking the truck from time to time, to get my fix!

Wood Fire Pizza! Who can beat that?! No one! The pizza is great here every time! The crust has the right amount of crispiness and great texture in every bite and red sauce base is light and fresh. Of course, the pizza is cooked in mere minutes and brought right to you. \ Very Hot ! Perfection! I recommend the margherita but definitely don’t be afraid to try any of their specials. This place is simply amazing. Don’t miss out! and stick to Wood Fire Pizza ONLY! Happy Eats!

Nice, clean, efficient pizza truck. A lot of thought went into this operation. As far as pizza goes, it’s tops in town! Gourmet pizza, on a truck, who the hell thought of such a brilliant idea?! Free wi-fi, flatscreen tv usually has a good action movie on too. Super friendly owner and staff(vet owned).

I really enjoyed my slice(and a couple bites of husband’s slice). It reminded me of the delicious New York pizza I ate in college, 4 million years ago. The sauce was mellow and flavorful and the crust was thin and that perfect mixture of crisp yet floppy. How is that physically possible? I don’t know. What I do know is that Joey has a real, honest to god, brick oven built into his food truck. The interior of the truck is beautiful — seriously. Stainless steel, skylights. it’s very impressive! Stop by, order something delicious and watch TV while your slice bakes in the Real. Brick. Oven. And say hi to Joey — he’s in there making dough from scratch, being awesome.

The CLEANEST Food truck EVER. I went to this truck when they were doing the joint venture with Spiritas — for a wine tasting event they were having. The pizza is fresh the crust has that New York think crust crunch with the slightly rough bottom, but not sandy. The slices are huge a titch pricey but they are excellent… like right up there with Zella’s Pizzeria in Hollins Market or Pub Dog in Fed Hill. 2 big meatlovers slices are like one personal pie worth every single penny if you are on a pizza crave.

Great pizza coupled with a group of workers that came out to greet and thank patrons for dropping by. The two decorated veterans that chatted with me we’re passionate about their business, and the proof is in the product. Crispy crust with a soft saltiness finish. Real mootzarell’ and tasty sauce. I ordered a Pepperoni, a marguerite, and a cheese 12″ to bring back to the guys on the ship. Oh yeah, they gave me a discount for my three pies and thanked me for my service. BTW the three pies were kicked out in under 8 minutes. Piping hot, it was tough not to tear into them before I got back inboard.
