I may have visited on a bad day but all I saw that was worth buying were wall hanging — artwork and mirrors. The prices were not really discounted for used furniture.

Interesting place. My boyfriend and I went in here while waiting for the body shop across the street to finish with our car, just to look around. We like thrift stores and exploring, so it seemed similar to what we’d normally do elsewhere. They had some nice-looking furnishings, but they’re really huge; way too large for our little city rowhouse, so we didn’t bother considering them. They did have some nice glass pieces, kitchen items and sealed comforters/sheets, but in the end we didn’t really need anything and walked out empty-handed. I wouldn’t make a special trip to come here, but it was nice to explore a bit and see what it had. If you’re in the market for furnishings, this might be a good place to check out for cheap stuff(not necessarily cheap-looking, either — I saw a set of plush chairs that were absolutely GORGEOUS and I might have tried for them if it didn’t have a «sold» tag on them). I DID note that most of the more attractive items were already sold or had a tag on them. YMMV.

The place is a great deal for items such as lamps, mirrors, furniture and TVs. You have to go through and figure out whats junk. I was wondering about the upholstered chairs as previously mentioned on Unilocal.I did ask one of the store owners(all of them were very nice guys) and he brushed it off. I would be cautious about it. The armoirs, coffee tables, side tables and book cases are great deals. Happy with purchases and will return.

This place was ok. Like Jonathan G. said… or basically, implied, I wouldn’t go for any of the upholstered furniture because who the hell knows what’s on that and what’s gone on on that. I did see a bunch of dressers and armoires that looked pretty good and like solid, good quality wood. They have their inventory on the website, and it says it’s updated frequently but I really don’t think it is because half the stuff I saw on the website had«sold» post-its stuck on them. I think this place is worth checking out but I would go in with no expectations and not a clear idea of what you want and just see what you find.

I’ve been here a few times, and honestly, it’s not worth the effort. I consider myself pretty accepting of worn/used/shabby chic furniture, but this stuff is really just garbage. The furniture being offered here is just lot after lot of refuse that hotels and office buildings were going to throw away — so Overstock Outlet is going to sell whatever they can, and drag the rest across the street to the dump. Any upholstered furniture has to be riddled with bodily fluids, and the rest *look* like they belong in a cheap hotel — not your home. There are real used furniture stores that sell good pieces(Owings Mills, Timonium, Glen Burnie), go support them.

Used hotel and overstock furniture for cheap. Most items are not perfect but serviceable; great for a bargain hunter. Stock changes often. Delivery isn’t a great deal but then again, neither is dragging furniture up rowhouse stairs… Update, 11÷2÷11: we went back recently, and found more«soft stuff» — bedsheets, towels, etc(in packages) and at pretty good prices. I also got a great deal on a computer monitor. However, be warned that it takes FOREVER to check out.

This place is pretty fantastic. They buy furniture from hotels and offices that are remodeling, so you can find high-quality, gently-used furniture at amazing prices. They even have TVs. My boyfriend got a bookcase made out of real wood for less than $ 50, and a super nice desk for around the same price. I bought a nice office chair for $ 15. They also have lamps, framed art prints, filing cabinets, armoires, couches, and lots of other furniture. They even have new mattresses and bedding too. It is a great place to look if you want nice furniture on a budget. Stay out of Ikea! Their website lists some of their stock, but they have a lot more in the warehouse.
