Still good food but the last few times we’ve been he service has not been great. Very slow with employees chatting while you’re standing there — one time they were discussing how bad the kale smells as they were making my salad with it. Hope they can turn it around.

Chicken is very good. Sides are solid. Workers are very nice. There’s always space and it’s super clean. Can’t really ask for too much more.

The food was okay, but as a first-timer here, and even having the manager take my order, I wasn’t given any instruction on the extremely odd set-up they have here for dining. You wait to be seated with a menu, but then you have to go up to the counter to order. They bring your food to you, but no silverware or anything. You have to get your own drinks, forks, and even salad dressings and sauce. I wasn’t aware of any of this, and as a consumer you are sort of at a loss as to what they do for you vs what they make you get on your own. The Country salad I had was good, but didn’t come with dressing– you have to go find it. The bottles that contain the dressings are a pain in the butt since they get clogged up with herbs that are in the dressing. I had to vigorously shake that bottle like a Shake Weight to get barely anything out. I stopped because I was getting strange looks. Now that(I think) I understand their system here, I may come back, but I wouldn’t be in any rush to do so.

This is my first time and I loved it. Chicken was very delicious and the service was amazing. They accommodated my group of 16 without a problem. The food came out quickly as well.

I’ve been here on 2 separate occasions. One was my 1st visit and the other was to redeem a «Business Card Fishbowl Lunch Win». Each time the service was prompt and courteous. The chicken is always moist and super good. The interior is super cool. The décor just makes you want to take it all in. Shout out to Tay. She does an awesome job greeting and informing customers. Ps. If you’re eating there, they bring your items to you. :)

We were out and about walking around on a Saturday evening, and we decided to try Nando’s PERI-PERI. The first thing I noticed was how warm and inviting the space is. It is a bit different because you are seated, decided what you want, and then go to the cashier to order. I found the staff very helpful, funny and attentive. The half chicken I ordered was medium hot, and it was layered with so many spices that were full of flavor… really hard to put into words, but it was VERY good. They marinate the chicken in PERIPERI seasoning for 24 hours before cooking. The chicken is so tender it falls off the bone. I loved the unique side dishes. We tried hummas, as well as the spiced nut assortment because we were living all crazy! lol I had Peruvian rice as a side with my chicken, and my lovely dining partner tried the peas. Well worth the slightly higher prices, for a mouth watering excellent meal.

Nando’s has been my husband and I’s recent lunch obsession! We both work near the area and have been coming here everyday for lunch for the past two weeks. We typically get the combo meal(mango & lime w/peri peri chips, which are french fries). The chicken is always juicy and delicious. We usually get the fries with the peri mayo and its amazinggg. Make sure you use your reward stamp card so you can get free froyo, nuts & olives, a free side, and then ultimately a free meal!(: ALSO — leave your business card at the register! I usually never think I’d win free meals but they actually picked my card and I was able to feed my operations team at work. Really awesome and appreciated. The staff is super nice and attentive, although it can be a bit annoying at times. I’d wish they cut in half the number of times they visited my table. But other than that, the food is great and I will keep coming back.

First time dining in and thought the food was decent. You order and the food is delivered to your table. In general though, i thought their staff weren’t that impressive. The restaurant is pretty spacious and nicely decorated yet didn’t like the music they were playing. I thought it would be a nice place to have big groups/parties. I may come back to try out a different menu.

Nando’s is always a treat. I love the squash, corn, and cranberries side. I had a medium quarter chicken leg and thigh with fries. The right amount of spice. The staff brought me my meal promptly and even asked if I wanted a glass of water. The host was friendly at the door. Walking distance from many hotels by the harbor. If I had room in my stomach, I would have ordered a nata or Portuguese tart.

Going with just an Ok here. I havent explored too much of the menu but so far so good. So I’ll give it a 4. should be a 3 though but I’m feeling generous. The level of customer service is great but the whole seating thing is kind of odd but works. I’ve only had the chicken sandwich off the lunch menu, which was pathetic and pretty much all bread. The chicken was bone dry too. The next thing were the peri-peri wings(12) which were GREAT. The wings are a good size and grilled, not fried. Twelve is a perfect amount. Loved them. The choice of sauces is great and their«hot» is actually hot. Hot enough so you know you’re eating something spicy but not that hot to where you’ll break a sweat. There are also other sauces out that you can pick up in case you want to doctor your food up a bit. The place is clean but note the bathrooms are unisex(if that matters to you). If you come here a lot they also have a loyalty stamp card program so be sure to pick one up. I’ll certainly be coming back.

Well it’s nothing bad I can say about this place! The staff greeted me at the door! I guess they could tell I never been there before by the look on my face. Anyhow, I was told how everything works! Pick where you want to sit, order your food at the counter, get your drinks be seated and enjoy! I loved the décor! It had an authentic feel! My food was delicious. They even gave me an extra serving of chicken because they said the breast was small! Man oh man the mango lime chicken was good!!! Freshly made to order! So was the corn! They also had my favorite sparkling water Saratoga sparkling water is the most refreshing to me! This place is casual. Music was awesome! Management was attentive! Staff looked happy to be there! I will be going back!

The chicken was very moist and tasty even without the sauce or the skin. The hostess stand situation was odd to me and quite frankly lazy. I got up and left the first time because of this and the obnoxious people a few seats over. I feel like they need to address the hostess situation and probably keep it at a reasonable volume level.(not having people yelling and acting like morons.) Based on the above I now just have orderup bring me the food. The location in Annapolis if far better.

The décor here is beautiful and I enjoyed the South African music. We were greeted by a friendly host who handed out menus and informed us that we place orders at the counter when ready. The server was super friendly and checked on us a couple of times, even offering to refill water glasses — a first at a Nando’s! Great service overall and welcoming staff. The food was good, except the rice was cold. Would definitely return!

I must apologize. My previous review that I posted for Nando’s was actually for the place next door, at Cava. Here is my actual NPP review: We called in a to-go order last week based upon the online menu. Here’s the [sort of] short run-down of what happened. The girl on the phone was almost rude to my co-worker when she was taking the order. When my co-worker asked for fries with her meal, she didn’t realize at first that«chips» was fries, so it took a little back-and-forth before the girl on the phone specified that it was the same thing. The kids meal has a few side options, and when my friend tried to tell her I wanted the sliced apple with it, she had to repeat that three times because the girl said something like«okay, but what do you want for your side item?» Once again, apple. It IS the side item. Once we got our meals, there were no utensils or napkins even included with the bag. Is that something we were supposed to request? The food itself: My co-worker had a chicken caesar wrap which she said was very good.(And I do think she got the«chips» to go with it after all.) I ordered the chicken breast sandwich from the children’s menu, but the menu did not mention it came with lettuce, tomato, mayo.(I would not have gotten tomato & mayo.) As for my apple, it was not sliced at all, but left whole and«wrapped» in a to-go container. It’s not a huge deal, but once you start seeing one thing off, you start noticing other things, too… so it was just little«surprise» not sticking to the menu description. I also ordered the cucumber and poppy seed salad, which was quite tasty once I got plastic utensils from a competitor. The manager also had a chicken breast wrap, which he liked quite a bit. So…food wise, pretty decent and/or good. Service wise … that girl on the phone needs to know how to deal with people. We later met a couple other employees from there a couple hours later who confirmed that girl does get rude, so it wasn’t just our imagination. I would order there again because the food is worth it, but maybe that girl needs a new job.

So Nando’s is known for its Portuguese flame grilled chicken that pairs with its Peri-Peri sauces. Needless to say, the logical comparison would be to compare this chicken with the famed Peruvian Rotisserie chicken and the well known green«crack» sauce. Alas, there’s no competition. So we didn’t actually sit down and eat at the restaurant. Instead, we got carry out and the woman at the front register was very helpful in making decisions concerning the food on the menu. When they were making our order however, we were told they ran out of dark meat so they would instead fulfill our order(a whole chicken) with two additional breasts instead(turns out we got the short end of the stick since two of the breasts look like they came from the world’s smallest chicken. The wide array of sauces were good and the chicken was decent, though slightly dry. We also got the corn which was very good and the peas which were not so good. What’s the point of serving a mashed pea dish and then throwing whole peas in there? The world may never know. Overall mediocre food at a mediocre price point. Worth a try, but there are better options out there.

Customer service is stellar here! Better than the Towson location and I’d say that’s no small feat. Other than that, it’s a Nando’s. For it to be in Harbor East, I do think they should have better happy hour specials.

This casual dining place is a great, cheap, and fast experience for lunch. I’ve gone three times already since it opened and I’m sure I’ll be back again soon. The food is excellent(every sauce I’ve tried has been delicious!), especially the sandwiches and wraps. I also love the smashed potatoes and their hummus. In addition, the service has always been fast and friendly. The first time I went they even gave my co-workers and I coupons so we could try the food at a discount! And the food is very affordable to begin with!

Peri-peri grilled chicken is a welcome option in my life. I love Nando’s and I’m happy to see their gradual invasion of the USA has made its way to Baltimore.

Fun fast-food casual restaurant hybrid. Very spacious and open-window layout inside the Hyatt Place. Reasonable prices to inexpensive if you order wisely. The entrees themselves are plentifully sized. Paleo, vegetarian, and all-american dieters alike can be well-served here. The customer service is a notch up compared to peer restaurants with this low of prices and without having to order at the table – e.g. refills of drinks at your table, multiple folks checking in on you, etc. The staff also seemed much more happy to work there and spirited than their competitors. The chicken flavors were delightful, moist chicken, and unlike other chicken-centric restaurants the sides, vegetables, and accompaniments were fresh, diverse, and well-done. We particularly enjoyed being able to order some olives, roasted nuts, and custard pies. Warning: the hot and super hot are just that — be prepared. I personally enjoyed the hot version and felt it added to the flavor quite well and for reference enjoy«thai hot» and near hot to hottest flavors at most generic chicken wing institutions. That being said, the chicken wings weren’t too crispy-skinned here, and I don’t think I’d order them again or re-emphasize the wings being crispier to the order staff. Standout dishes: Portabello and Halloumi Wrap Chicken Salad with Dates Flame-boiled Chicken Breast

Whenever I’m at Arundel Mills, I like to stop at their Nando’s for lunch. But Arundel Mills is a hike, so I was really looking forward to the much-closer-to-home Harbor East location. My coworkers and I(6 in total) visited on a Friday. There was the usual lunch crowd, but it wasn’t too bad, and we were seated right away. They gave out vouchers, so most of us didn’t pay full price for our meals. I ordered a mango-lime flavored quarter chicken(breast + wing) with a side of cole slaw. I also got free bottomless frozen yogurt because of my loyalty card. The chicken was grilled nicely. It was fall-off-the-bone moist, and the slaw was fresh and slightly tangy. I devoured both, with only the chicken bones left as evidence that food had once existed on my plate. The frozen yogurt was a delightful dessert to end my meal. We were helped by multiple servers who were all very attentive and checked up on us often enough. They even grabbed sauces, utensils, etc., for some of us, so there was no need for any one of us to step away from the table. Overall, I had a great first impression of this place and will no doubt return again.
