wow. literally went in gave 5 $ cover with two of my friends. so 15 $ for three people. we go sit down and ask for the details of how much the hookah is. they say it’s 30 $ for one hookah. So… first of all 15 $ for cover + 30 $ for hookah? ya you must be kidding. so obviously we get up, 26 seconds after we sit down, and ask for our cover back because the prices here are insane. the big boned waiter lady says no, cover is non refundable after giving me hella attitude… literally went in for less than a minute and left. good way to do business right? oh also, it’s a really crusty place. would not recommend this place to anyone. there are way cheaper/better places within a mile radius of this place.

Shit hole place! Me and 2 friends went in to enjoy some hookah and hang. They asked us all for $ 5 cover. We paid and then sat down for the lady to tell us about the details of the hookah. It smelled like straight butt in there. Homegirl then told us hookah will be $ 30 for one hookah. We changed our minds on that price because that’s way too much. We sat there for maybe 26 seconds and decided to leave and make hookah at home. We got up to leave and asked if we could get our cover back that we literally just handed over. Homegirl looks at us like we had 3 heads and said«Um it’s non refundable». We were like what, are you serious… how? We weren’t even sitting there for a full minute. I kinda knew she would say that so I said back it’s «ok i figured you were going to be cheap like that». She laughed in my face and sat other customers. Jokes on them though since there was about only 8 people in there so they maybe made $ 300 on a Saturday night. If that’s how they run a business, I felt really bad for them. They can keep our $ 15, shit I wish we gave them $ 20, they needed it.

This place is absolutely horrible and take all your money. First they charged everyone cover and then tried to charge us 35 bucks for 1 hookah(the lowest kind). Then we decided to go elsewhere because that was ridiculous. They didn’t give us our covers back even though we literally just stepped in for 2 seconds. The lady manager was SO rude to me– absolutely horrible customer service!!. Like horribly rude. My friends and I will definitely be taking our business to other area hookah bars.

I was actually in Annapolis visiting my sister and wanted to smoke hookah so we drove out to Baltimore and looked around. The first one we went to was shut down, so we found Midnight Kings on Unilocal and it had good reviews so we tried it out. It’s in a nicer area, compared to our other choice. The server, whose name I’ve forgotten, was nice(and fine af). She explained how things worked and gave us some suggestions for coals and flavours and such. The interior is cool, but I thought the seating accommodations could be improved. For example, I think regular chairs would be nice, but it was no biggie. The hookahs were nice. We got ice on ours and it was real smooth. Overall I thought the price was fair, the selection of flavors and drinks were good, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for chilling with friends!

I went to Midnight Kings on a Friday night with 3 of my friends. They don’t serve food and it’s not BYOB so that’s why I did not give 5 stars. It wasn’t packed at all, which was nice. If you check-in you get 15% off your next hookah which is cool. I’m into hip hop so I thought the music was perfect. The service was also solid. The Woodlawn location is BYOB just so you know.

This is the WORST hookah spot I’ve ever been to. I purchased a groupon in which they didn’t honor because they only honor groupons before 9pm. I was okay with this. I arrived with 5 other people. It was a $ 5 cover charge and $ 25 starting for a hookah. $ 5 per additional coal. The ambience inside was decent. They had a hype DJ and good music. The website says BYOB on Friday’s and Saturdays but that is NOT the case. You’re not allowed to bring in liquor and they do not serve liquor. Out of the 6 people only 2 of us smoked hookah, the others actually left for a while to go to a bar down the block to get drinks. They were gone for about 45 minutes of the 1.5 hours we spent there. Over all they charged $ 47 for ONEHOOKAH. They charge $ 5 for EACH person sitting at the table even if they’re not smoking, which I think is extremely ridiculous and greedy. They already charge $ 5 per person to enter the establishment and then they charge $ 5ADDITIONAL to SITDOWN. For all that you’d think this was a spectacular hookah place which it is NOT. I do not recommend this hookah spot. When they charge a la carte to get in and to sit down it gets to the point that their greed outweighs their interest in providing customer satisfaction. Never again.

For a dry hookah bar is pretty okay. I mean atmosphere is very hip hop and rap on a Friday night. Hookah is good, packed well, lots of flavors but NOALCHOL what so ever. For the most part for a non drinking night is okay. Come with the right people to entertain yourself and if you are over 21 there is a bar walking distance. They don’t really ID, I mean you could probably look like a mature teenager and walk in and not worry about anything. There are TV? Guest Dj and nice space to dance or do catwalks on. You can walk to the back and but hookah stuff. Just make sure hip hop is your thing(not mine) and you have a good time on a budget

One of the worst hookah places in baltimore, not professional personnel and money oriented.

Best hookah spot that I have been to in Baltimore so far. I actually came to MK on 4th of July; my date and I wanted to do something different rather than going to a bar or club during the busy holiday. Coming to this hookah spot was actually on a limb but we decided to go in. At the time, there was only one other couple inside. The price we paid for hookah(two people mind you) was $ 25 which came with two flavors. Bottled water here is $ 2 a piece), just as a heads up. Midnight Kings has only been around for about a year. The atmosphere, as you would expect, is laid back; the DJ booth/music station is in the front of the room. I got a chance to speak with the manager, Prince, during my visit and he was pretty chill, also gave me some advice on hookah flavors for the next time I come here(where will be soon). Another tip: I believe we got here around 11:00PM. Around 12:15, the place was getting full with other groups coming in. Not sure if this is a regular thing or if the holiday had something to do with it but I’d recommend getting here early on the weekend. The good thing is that the place closes around 3AM, which is extremely ideal considering the new curfew for hookah spots in B-More County.

This is the first place I’ve tried hookah. I’ve always been skeptic because I don’t smoke or anything so I didn’t see what would be so fun. I went with a friend who also wanted to try it out and it was an early time when few other people were in attendance. The guy that runs this lounge was so informative and chill. He said a lot of things that made me feel comfortable with the whole hookah thing. So many flavors to choose from. I like variety and he helped us find something we’d like. I’m a fan of lounges and being comfortable while out with friends and this is a great place for that. The whole smoking thing is still growing on me but I like it lots more after coming here for a second time with more friends. Great for keeping busy once everyone has run out of other ideas or don’t wanna drink more. Location is good because its a lot of bars close by so you can work your way back to the lounge after a night of bar hopping.

Seriously I’ve been to a couple hookah bars and I definitely recommend this one! The hookah is smooth and the one managing everything was great! I literally just say there with my friends and he took care of everything! I’m definitely coming back.
