Food was excellent. Lady at counter was super friendly and quick. For airport fast food this place was great. 10.69 for 2 item combo with drink. No complaints here at all. Moved people through quickly also.

This probably is not a place that I would frequent if it were located outside the confines of the airport but the convenience and selection of neighboring restaurant in the food court area of the airport was the main factor in deciding to eat here. The steam table pans were filled with what appeared to be freshly prepared selections of Chinese fast food. I had the nice young woman serving the food dish me up a combination plate and that was dinner if I known my flight was going to be delayed for over 5 hours I may have looked for other options. Over-all experience — not bad Food Selection — very limited Temperature — hot Taste — average Portion — more than enough for one person Setting — foam box, plasticware, wooden table and chair Pricing — not bad considering the venue Satisfaction Rating — 3 stars

They were very busy when I was there at prime dinner time… Two of the pans of food sat empty. And the girls working the line seemed very rushed. All of that I understand tho because it was a busy time at a quick serve airport eatery. Not going there for the service. But the food seemed quite bland and flavorless. The Lo mein noodles tasted like noodles with a little oil on them. No flavor at all. And the sesame chicken was soggy. Not fresh.

Wow the reviews for this are really, really bad. My review is probably less helpful because I only ordered a side of chow mein/lo mein style noodles and I thought it was fine — nothing revolutionary, but I never expect revolutionary from fast food Chinese style meals… TIP: They have sriracha sauce in little to go containers — but you have to ask for it.

Good enough for a quick hot meal during a short layover at BWI. Leeann Chin is a quick service Chinese eatery located in the Concourse A/B Food Court. This place is similar to Panda Express offering several Americanized Chinese hot dishes and items(hot & ready on the steam table) to choose from, mostly chicken dishes here. They offer 2 Item($ 7.99) and 3 Item Combo($ 8.99) dinners served with veg lo mein noodles or veg fried rice, which you pick out the items you want and the staff scoops the food into a takeout box. They also offer egg rolls, spring rolls, cheese wontons, salads, wraps, and Pepsi fountain drinks($ 2.09). While at BWI during a connection, I decided to stop at Leeann Chin for a quick dinner since I had minimal time between connecting flights. There was no line there and the food was hot & ready with no waiting for my food to be made. I ordered the 3 Item Combo($ 8.99 plus tax), choosing bourbon chicken, sesame chicken, beef & broccoli and lo mein noodles. The portion of food was generous, packed really good in a square styrofoam box. The food for the most part was greasy and oily, but it was very filling to eat. The bourbon chicken(boneless pieces) was tender, but the flavor was very salty. The beef & broccoli(fresh) were chewy, but tasted pretty good. The sesame chicken(small breaded pieces of boneless chicken) was actually pretty good, which was covered in a very sweet sauce coated with dry sesame seeds. The lo mein noodles were very oily and the noodles were just right(not mushy). Overall, this place offers decent airport quality Chinese fast food. The prices here were fair, which are in line with similar fast style Chinese places outside of the airport.

Nice Asian stuff, at least can differentiate the items in taste, convenient stomach filler at airport

It was okay. I needed something greasy to easy my hangover and waste time for a flight. I ordered Lo Mein with Kung Pao and some other chicken. The noodles weren’t too good but everything else was. A little expensive but hey it’s an airport.

I wish I looked at Unilocal first. By far the worst Chinese food I’ve eaten on the PLANET!!! Please do not disrespect your stomach, food going in the trash as we speak!

If this fast food stop is a chain, it’s one I’ve never heard of and I’m glad of that. BWI features a food«strip» of slick, new-looking storefronts featuring chains such as Chipotle, Quizno’s, Villa Fresh Italian and McDonald’s. The service and offerings are the same as a Panda Express but you’d be better off with PE. We tried the broccoli beef, honey chicken and fried rice. My jaw wasn’t powerful enough to break the beef down to swallowable portions so I left that off and used the sauce to try and add some sort of flavor to the rice. Honey Chicken was the best item I chose but it was awfully sweet so I left several pieces in the container that I pitched in the trash. Prices are reasonable at $ 7.99 for a two item combo but in retrospect I should have skipped this place and gone to Potbelly instead! By the end of my 6+ hour flight I was already hungry again. To be avoided. Yuk!

Run away. Even Panda Express is better than this place. I’m writing this after throwing away more than half my two item meal. The noodles taste like Italian noodles with some Asian spice. The sesame chicken and orange chicken are pretty much the same deep fried regret. Oh I’m regretting this buy. Avoidddddddd. I would say just get the grab n go items. Don’t bother with this buffet from the rejected side of Hell’s Kitchen(not the show) The best thing I purchased here was the bottle of water.

BWI has a good selection of restaurants both sit down and fast casual. Leann Chin is like Panda Express with multiple items to choose from. The standard plate is two or three items with lo mein noodles, fried rice or white rice(must ask for it) as your side. For $ 7.99 the two item combo is huge with overflowing scoops of whichever dishes you choose. I tried the grilled bourbon chicken and garlic chicken with broccoli and carrots. Is this the best Chinese food ever? No, but this is an airport and my food was hot and fresh, employees polite and price reasonable($ 8.47 with tax). I won’t be hungry when I get on my flight. Definitely worth a try if you’re in the mood for Chinese pre/post flight.

I’m a fan. I had several days in a row where I had lengthy stops at BWI, and every time I ended up coming here. Granted, there’s not a TON of competition for ‘GREAT’ food at BWI airport, but this place can still hold it’s own. In a world of mediocrity, this place is a little less mediocre and is at least reliably ‘good’. Their bourbon chicken is just a guilty pleasure that I can’t quit. A sweet, smoky, gloopy sauce covers their chicken, which is really grilled just-right. That was one of the key points in my decision to give this place more stars– the chicken that they use for their bourbon chicken is grilled PERFECTLY, with just a little bit of crispiness at the ends. Their noodles are ‘meh’, but that’s going to be pretty much any heat-lamp Chinese place you go to. Their strings beans are definitely a must-have, and their other offerings(from what I sampled) are all just fine. Nothing amazing at all, but just fine. Bottom line– in the middle of a food court that doesn’t offer much to begin with, you could do a lot worse than this place. And every time I’ve come here, the food has been tasty enough– consistently. That’s enough for me… for BWI.

About as average as airport Chinese food gets. Given the chance to do it again, I probably would’ve just waited in line at Chipotle for some decent food.

Welcome to Unilocalonomics, class. Here is the equation for the ultimate 1-Star review: Chicken that has a daunting aroma of feet + Fried rice that is burned and clumpy + Very unprofessional employees = Bad decision on my part.

I walked by someone eating this at a table and looked appetizing. I walked by to see what they had and their fried rice looked good. I then looked at other food options in the area. I ended up back here. I got the two item combo. I got fried rice with Mongolian Chicken and Bourbon Chicken. Got a drink to go with it. The fried rice was super salty. The Mongolian Chicken should be renamed Mongolian Vegetable Pieces. All this had was a bunch of diced up bell peppers in a watery Mongolian-like sauce. In all honesty, I had one piece of chicken. And even that tasted like rubber. The Bourbon Chicken? It looked appetizing when I chose it. First bite and my goodness, I felt like I was eating a block of salt. It was extremely salty. With the salty fried rice, I might as well have just eaten salt cubes. And a soda was like $ 3. And one of the employees asked what my nationality was. Then where I was from. The other employee then said, «You’re flirting!» to his co-worker. That was super awkward. Do yourself a favor and go to Chipotle if you want fresh food. Or the healthy option right next to Arby’s.

I know airport food is bad. But this place takes that to a new low. Cardboard chicken drenched in salt, fat and oil. Just plain nasty. Should have opted for the mystery meat at McDonalds.

Airport Chinese food: how good could it be, right? Wrong. This food was awesome. Everything was very fresh, there were several options, and bourbon chicken was outstanding. I will definitely be back here next time I fly out of BWI.
