Stopped by this place after coming from a show. The atmosphere is amazing. It was so sexy. The owner was really attentive and helpful. He was truly AWESOME! The food was beyond great. I had the pasta. Everything is made fresh and in house. My experience was great. Im going back and bringing more friends with me. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars because its well worth it!!!

It was dark and empty at 7:45 on a sat night. Made reservation for a birthday dinner. The music was going on and off. Until 9 ish. Happy hour was over at 9, seemed like there was only one waitress in the place. Table was unattended. We got our food with no silverware… And ended up walking out and leaving our money on the table because the waitress brought out our food and never came back. Had to ask multiple time for my birthday gift that I was told I would get only to be told I had to wait until midnight when they made the official announcement for birthdays. Had to pay a $ 10 cover to get in and the place was empty. The only saving grace was there is a pool table in the front for free. The food was good and there was a cute set up by our seats on the stage… There were a few people that straggled in between 9 and 11p. Left around 11:45 ish. Would only go back to get another steak. I feel like this place promotes false advertising. Maybe it was jumping at some point in the past but I was highly disappointed that I came here with my friends for my birthday to have a good night out and the place was empty. Thank goodness for my steak that I ordered — that’s what gave the place two stars. The margaritas seemed watered down, nothing to brag about. There is also a $ 2 coat check fee.

Only stopped in for Happy Hour this past Saturday around 7pm. The place was rather empty. Only a few other people in the place. However the bartenders was very friendly. We sat at the front bar because there was no one working in the back this early. I just had a Margarita which was a Happy Hour Special for just $ 5.00. Might I add it was truly delicious. They also had complimentary salsa and dip. I will have to come back at a later date and maybe learn how to salsa. Looks like this place would have been a little livelier in just a few hours. However they did not disappoint. Great place for Happy Hour to me.

Walked in to LP to spend a fun night out with friends. Got here early and was not charged a cover. Decided to kick off the night with a game of pool. No sooner had we started than the manager, owner or someone of self-professed importance came up to us and chastised is for 1. Not having paid cover, 2. Not having a drink in hand and 3. Having the audacity to use the pool table. The disrespect was flagrant so I called said person on his manners and schooled him on the art of customer service. Never again.

We(4 of us girls) wanted to check out some night life in Baltimore and ended up choosing this location since technically it was predicted to play more salsa music on a Saturday night. Which it did… Now we usually party in DC because thats closer for us. SO thats what we compared the night club to. The club was run down. The crowd was between the ages of 30 – 40. A few in there 20s. The music was good. They played salsa, merengue and bachata. Guys were definitely interested in dancing and just having a good time without a doubt. Cute/hot guys? No. Not at all. At least not in my opinion. The drinks were pretty good. Will I ever go back again. Not at all. Not my scene. I love dancing salsa and can dance it well but the over all crowd was not of my likings nor did I favor the club ambiant.

Atmosphere: More upscale than most clubs i have been to in Baltimore. Aesthetically very pleasing. Plenty of seating with tables. I attended here several times. One of which was for a friends birthday party. He had reserved the upstairs for the dinner and cake. The service was excellent and the food very good. I have attended a few other times. Most of the music played is Salsa and other Latin music. They do offer Salsa Lessons which is a great option for those wanting to learn to dance Salsa. I do recommend this place. Its inviting, fun, and a nice place to have a night out.

Cant seem to get enough of this place! I’m always Livin La Vida Loca. too corny? Probably. Moving on… I strictly come here for the awesome salsa dancing lessons. The Latin Palace is also known on numerous occassions to offer coupon deals for classes on LivingSocial and Groupon, so keep your eyes peeled… and then let me know, for sure! From personal experience, I took my sister-in-law here for her bachelorette party and we had a blast. The owner is super accomodating, he gave us a table of our own upstairs in the restaurant; the food was fantastic by the way! Then we went down for two hours of salsa dancing lessons, where you rotate with everyone who is being taught(its really a great way to meet new people and laugh at yourself). Then we were given a VIP table! Once the lessons ended, the«club”/dance floor opened and everyone was out on the dance floor gettin down. Its a place where you can actually dance — not just wiggle your butt from side to side and say your«dancing» :) Hips dont lie, ya know!

I actually do really like this place. When I was in college, I could not wait till I was 21 to be able to party at Latin Palace. I have not been there for the dinner as of yet but the Friday and Saturdays nights are great for latin dancing and having a good time. The dancing is great and the people are very friendly. I will always give this place five stars.

Went into the Latin Palace to find refuge from the Fells Point Fair. The venue is an old theater. No one was in the restaurant so thought it might be a dud. Ordered food and it was some of the best Latin food we have ever had. The portions were huge. A real sleeper. They do look as if their main stay is the bar but the restaurant is fantastic. Everything cooked fresh so it takes a little time but worth it. I highly recommend.

This place definitely looks the part for a really great dance party but I was a little disappointed in the restaurant portion. The food was tasty, yes, but very average and nothing spectacular. The staff was nice and I look forward to going back to enjoy the nightclub part but will probably eat somewhere else first. I do have to admit the sangria was dangerously good.

Latin Palace is a great place for salsa, merengue, bachata, and even some samba. They play Latin dance music pretty much exclusively, with the occasional other dance song tossed in for fun. And, the best part is that people actually use the dance floor – to do real Latin dancing, too, not just gyrate around at random! It’s not so crowded that you’re crashing into people, but it’s crowded enough that you don’t feel weird like everyone’s looking at you. The bartender was super-friendly too. Nice laid-back atmosphere and a great place to do some late-night Latin dancing. I’m a beginner to salsa, so I can’t really comment on the skill of the other dancers, but they seemed to range from«wtf am I doing?» to pretty good(most of the dancers seemed to know what they were doing). The other people there seem friendly and willing to dance with strangers, but not in a creepy way. This is a great place to go with your friends or a date. I’m definitely going to keep going back.
