Pleasant shopping experience with a good selection of hatwear for the gentlemen and the ladies. Prices aren’t cheap, but these are quality items and are certainly better/​nicer than anything you’d get at one of the department stores. Good selection of colors and sizes!

My friend and I wandered in here on our way to the tattoo convention yesterday and we were pretty impressed. They had a fabulous selection, ranging from cabbies to top hats to gigantic sunhats fit for the finest débutante sitting ringside at the kentucky derby.
Patrick was incredibly kind and helpful, and really knew his hats! I’ll definitely be back this summer for a floppy beach hat, their selection was the best I’ve seen!

I’ve always liked hats, but more so as I have gotten older. Hats in the Belfry has a great selection, but I noticed that they were better for guys than for women. I even looked at the guy’s styles for myself since there weren’t enough women’s styes that caught my attention.
The women’s styles just skewed «older» if you will — more for my grandma than for me. They are starting to get some fall hats and have a few knit hats already, but nothing that knocked my socks off. That being said, I am going to come back when it is winter. The best hats at hat stores usually come out in the middle of summer or the middle of winter. Spring and all are hit or miss. I’ve noticed that from shop to shop over the years. I hope that the choices for women are better there then…
