Walked here for a quick lunch during a conference. The line was long, the service was impatient, and the sandwhiches(while delicious) are way overpriced. $ 13 for a soda and a normal-sized turkey sandwhich with no chips/fries/side? No thanks. I’m not cheap by any means, but I just don’t think that microwaved sliced deli meat on a cold, mass-produced(read: not homemade) foccacia roll should ever cost more than $ 5 – 8.

I went here one time late night after a night out. Overall, solid place. They have veggie burgers, which is a huge plus. I went around 1a with a party of 5 people. We ordered various fries and pizzas, which only took about 5 – 10 minutes to come out. It wasn’t super crowded, about 2 – 3 other parties in the restaurant at the time. Customer service was average, nothing crazy. There is no waiter service, per se, they do bring the food out to you though. Clean bathrooms and there are a couple tv’s throughout. Parking can be a nuisance though as it is street parking. I will definitely return.

Ordered delivery at 4:30pm on a Saturday. Pretty simple items hamburger and fries. It took over an hour, which I don’t mind if they’re busy, but I only live three blocks away and the food was ice cold when it got here. This tells me it sat somewhere for that hour. That’s unacceptable, hence the one star review. Order at your own risk. Update: I complained to Eat24 and they attempted to get me a refund for the burger and fries like I asked but were only able to get a partial refund. I guess they think cold food is something you should have to pay for. :-(Well I’m done with ordering and paying in advance, I’ll pay cash at the door after I confirm the food is hot and correct. Very disappointed with Harbor East Deli and Eat24.

Absolutely average pizza. Does the owner taste the food that is actually served? The price was also jacked up. I can make better frozen pizzas at home. The sandwiches are also overpriced. Be prepared to pay $ 2.50 for fountain soda. What a rip off!

Had a couple sandwiches from here in the last few weeks. One day was a cheesesteak, and twice I had the chicken parm sub. Each time, I got the sandwich only, and no sides. They have all been more than filling… in fact, each sandwich turned into two meals. That helped me justify the price in my mind :-)

I stayed at the Marriott on this street for 4 days, and came here 4 times. The people are super nice and eager to recommend things if you ask, and the food comes super quick considering how tiny the kitchen looks and how there only seems to be 3 people working. I went once right during the peak lunch hour when it was packed and I still only waited maybe 10 minutes. I got the crab cake sandwich as well as the fried fish sandwich, twice each. They were both heavenly. At first I wasn’t sure about the crab cake looking at them on display because it seemed like there were a lot of ingredients, and I only like my ‘cakes with jumbo lumps and nothin else! I gave it a try though and somehow it still tasted like just the lumps, with a lot of flavor. There was definitely no filling or extras added in that would lower the quality. The fish filet sandwiches though, omg. They give you two filets with lettuce and tomato(crab cake sandwich had LT also) and, this is weird but, the lettuce and tomato somehow tasted so so fresh that for a second I almost felt healthy eating the fried fish sandwich. But the fish itself was great and both the fish and crab cake came in a generous portion, and I didn’t think they could have piled more fries on the side. They also have a self serve area where you are free to shake on as much old bay or malt vinegar as you want :) I loved this place and am gonna miss it now that I’m gone! Everyone should go.

Love this place. I live & work in the area and this is always my go to. The food is always good,(I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu) convenient and the people are friendly. The gyros are my favorite.

After almost a year of working in the area, I have to re-evaluate my review. The fish sandwiches I’ve seen come out have gotten to be better looking — though I haven’t decided to get another one yet. Two slices of pizza — specialty — are 8 dollars and change — so it officially is in my under ten dollar lunch list. Plus, the veggie slice is really loaded, and the spinach/Broccolli is delicious — while I prefer thin slice style, I do appreciate the generous toppings. The list of lunch specials have grown, which, while all are over ten dollars, gets you a hefty meal including fries and a drink most times. To sum it up — Harbor East is incredibly convenient, very consistent, pretty fast, has outdoor seating, plenty of indoor seating, and you can get a fair amount of food. The downsides are — the only way to get under 10 bucks for lunch is the pizza slices without a drink and you have to either show up or call to find out what the specials are of the day, otherwise the price per sandwich is absurd.

Was here on business and looking to just pick something up to take to the room to get some work done. Concierge recommended this place that was 2 blocks down. Loved it! If I would have found it my first night, would have ate there every day — and you could — everything looked so good — they have entrees, speciality sandwiches, salads, pizza, crab cakes, soup. I tried the chopped salad. I think it may have been one of the best I’ve had with freshly cooked chicken, bacon, avocado, etc. The next stop, couldn’t resist trying the pesto pizza slice. Phenomenal. if I’m back in Baltimore, will definitely return!

I work in Harbor East and eat here for lunch most days of the week. Always delicious and always quick with deliveries! Every sandwich I’ve tried is good but usually go with The New Legg Mason.

Went here late night for a slice of pizza and loved it. They are a lot like Pasta Mistas but I would probably still prefer PM. They have an huge array of choices… bbq chicken pizza, buffalo chicken, meat lovers, lasagna pizza, etc… kept going and going. I just but the bbq chicken and it was top notch. The crust had a nice crunch on the bottom but still chewy… done perfectly. The place was clean, had security inside, and everyone was very friendly. Will go back if the area.

I stumbled into this place looking to watch the Dallas Cowboys Washington Redskins game while working in Baltimore. All I can say is wow. Their pizza is phenomenal! I had a slice of the fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil. It was fantastic and I don’t even like tomatoes. They have several beers on tap. The guys working were very knowledgable and had great recommendations. I explained to them I had never been there before and they didn’t give the standard answer«I don’t know… Everything… Shrug shoulders etc…» This is a great little place right in the middle of all the $$$ restaurants. Don’t get me wrong, I love the nice restaurants but sometimes I want low key and reasonable prices. I will be back!!!

This is the best pizza I have had in five years. The place is set up great. The pizza slices are huge and worth the coin. I had the buffalo chicken pizza it was so yummy. They sale beer and have a few tvs. Great sport bar feel. Parking is nice too.

Ordered a buffalo chicken wrap which was pretty good. However a little overpriced but a convenient location to where I work. Service was fairly fast and I would probably come back again.

I’ve gone here for lunch a couple times now and both times I thought the food was great. The first time I got a Philly Cheesesteak which was absolutely delicious and the second time I got a Hawaiian pizza, which wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but was certainly good nonetheless. Downsides to this place are that the food is definitely overpriced for what you’re getting. You do get large portions, but the food overall is a dollar or two more than I think it’s really worth. Like others have mentioned, they can get a bit busy at lunchtime on weekdays. I’d recommend using their website to order for pick-up. I did that my first time there and it was really fast. Finally, I do not recommend the fries. Perhaps it was just a bad batch, but they were bland and not worth the calories or the cost.

Solid 3 star I was there on 4th of July! The restaurant was packed! I had to wait like 5 min to find a seat and another 5 min to wait in the line to use the restroom! Although they were super busy they took our order correctly and we didn’t have to wait too long to get our food… My gyro was really yummy yummmmmy! The gyro was from the döner machine not frozen slices! They are seriously overprice! For two regular meals we paid $ 38 and some change! It’s usually below $ 20 anywhere else!

I agree with some of the other reviews… sandwiches are way overpriced for what you get. I got a cheese sub which ended up only having 1 piece of cheese… that’s a pretty sad sandwich.

We wanted a quick bite to eat after getting out of a late movie, and this place was perfect for what we wanted. It looks like a simple sandwich counter, but they have beer on tap(and bottled), pizzas, and great sandwiches. The sandwiches are all named after local Baltimore institutions, so I figured they were just there for the tourists. But whoever put these together knows what they’re doing. The Under Armour was fantastic. I may have been thinking«avocado» when I noticed it had artichoke on it, but it went well with the tender meat and other ingredients. With the friendly service, this is exactly the spot you want when you just want something quick to eat and be on your way.

It’s as overpriced as everything else in harbor east but the food is decent and the service has gotten a lot better over the years as most of the people working the counter actually speak English now.(crazy concept I know) Lunch rush can be a bit hectic, if the place is more than ½ full and you’re in a time crunch go somewhere else. Taco Fiesta and the Chinese place are both way faster during rush times.

Well I wandered over here in the rain on the advice of hotel staff– I was told to get the crab cake special– I did and it was wonderful!!! The staff were nice and engaging and moved the customers along nicely– In typical deli fashion you order at the counter and then find a seat in what is typically a very busy place– I was lucky and found a booth in the back– I thought it would take a while to get food but notices the cooks were working like a machine and food was coming out fast– Soon enough my order was ready– a crab cake sandwich– I don’t know how to really describe what I like in a crab cake sandwich as I typically do not order them due to the fact that I have family that live on the bay and would trap crabs and make them however you asked. In any case, I remember the best being generous, hot, and simply executed. This was to allow the crab to be the center piece. The first thing I noticed was the crab cake was larger than the bun– this was lovely as I had completed a Tough Mudder the day prior and this was my first recovery meal– including fries! Next, no tartar sauce or mayo– excellent– that should ALWAYS be a choice. I put the thing together, a few large tomato slices, some lettuce, and a fluffy warm bun– First bite– WOW– totally impressed– the sandwich was fresh and hot! It was clear it was special made. The fries were old School and were yummy without being overly greasy– The deli has a laid back atmosphere and serves a few beers– though I did not take part in that as it was lunch time. I would recommend this place for the crab cake sandwich– I would be back as well!
